    You can change the colors and wire color as well as leg color and wing case to Mach pretty much anything and we are all wood duck horders 😂 this years June 25 is the tenth anniversary of Tightline video!

      Yes you can. The SBR Sulphur nymph is an example of that. Had no idea about the anniversary, thanks! We are also not that far away from the 50,000 subscriber mark, which is pretty cool.

    Tied a couple of these up last night. I'm hitting the Gorge up this weekend. Maybe I'll bump into you there sometime. Great videos.

      Sounds good. The warm weather over the weekend hopefully will get the Hendricksons moving and hatching, they're getting to be on the late side.

    First great pattern, I will add it to my box for next year. I've always wondered though, if you always mash the barb, why not just buy barbless hooks?

    • @tightlinevideo
      @tightlinevideo  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The vast majority of hooks are not available barbless.

    Hi, Tim Flagler. Another great video from you. You are the best. It's a slightly tricky pattern. But I think with your help through this instruction I have done a pretty good job. However, I'm not-English-speaking-from-birth so I would like to know what "SBR" stands for when you named the video "SBR Hendrickson Nymph". I think the creator of this pattern is Albert Everett Hendrickson, fly tyer and flyfisher. But what means with "SBR"?

    A darn good concoction. Have you used them on the SBR?

    • @tightlinevideo
      @tightlinevideo  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. It has been working very well in the Gorge and beyond. Got a bad feeling this rain and cold is going to put a real damper on the Hendrickson hatch though.

    Hi Tim what are your thoughts about tying this one on. Jig style hook?

    How in the world do you find woodduck that looks like that I end up throwing 60-70% of mine in the trash unless I buy the zoo cougar packs from the slide inn

    • @tightlinevideo
      @tightlinevideo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm very lucky in that a good friend of mine hunts woodducks and prepares beautiful full skins for me. It always amazes me just how few fully useable feathers come off a bird. It's no wonder they are expensive and can be hard to find.
