    This is the best tutorial video for JME, thank you. However, there are a couple of mistakes I wanted to point out for new players:
    1. Prepare/Preparing cards is the correct term, rather than readying (some cards reference this).
    2. Ranged attacks can also be made in the character's space.
    3. Title cards remain in your deck for the duration of the campaign. They are not returned to the title deck when used.

    15:00 Last Stand is performed when a hero’s damage or fear EQUAL or exceed the limit indicated on the character card. In Aragorn’s case, it’s 5 not 6 damage.

    Fantastic overview for 21 minutes. I'd watched a couple others of similar length and this one really helped make the most sense. Knowing how to use the Prepared cards after each Scout wasn't properly covered in the others. Easy to understand and follow and didn't feel rushed despite being comprehensive. You have a new subscriber for sure!

    Maybe I overlooked this in your video, but I thought the rule book says that after scouting 2 cards, you can then rearrange the deck as you like. That doesn't happen at the beginning of each round, if I'm not mistaken, but can happen after rally phases.

    • @nithrania-gameinanutshell
      @nithrania-gameinanutshell  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Tim. ☺️ It's Czech language. I was born in former Czechoslovakia, now Czechia and Slovakia but we speak both languages fluently, they're very similar. Most games are only localized to Czech language as it easily serves both markets - Slovak and Czech.

    do the enemys need to counter attack the hero thats attacked them? so if the hunter legolas shoots from 1 space and they want to counter attack but there not range and another hero is in rage gimli wil they attack them or dont counter?

    • @nithrania-gameinanutshell
      @nithrania-gameinanutshell  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Enemies only counter-attack heroes who attack them. So if they don't have the range, in your example, they would not attack Gimli.

  • @joosts.9477
    @joosts.9477 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Very clear explanation. When doing the provoke you talk about an enemy group or is it a single creature that's provoking?

    • @nithrania-gameinanutshell
      @nithrania-gameinanutshell  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you!
      I talk about an enemy group. That group may sometimes only have one creature but it may also contain multiple creatures.
      And there may be mulitple groups on the same space.
      Hope it helps. :)

  • @lordbow
    @lordbow 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    At 8:30 you mention being able to use the item card’s abilities only once. I cannot find that rule anywhere in the rule book. Is that correct? I’ve been using he same ability twice when attacking (when I have enough success symbols).

    • @nithrania-gameinanutshell
      @nithrania-gameinanutshell  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's on page 11, first paragraph, last sentence - "Each ability indicates how many successes must be spent to resolve it, and each ability can be resolved only once per attack."
