It seems like they’re bringing back a lot of deeper cuts this tour, they did Harvester of Sorrow, The Day that Never Comes, and Phantom lord when I saw them in Philly and they nailed all 3 of them like it was nothing.
Ryan Pieper these setlists are some of the best they’ve had in a while since they’re doing deeper cuts along with their newer stuff. I just wish they’d do more stuff from Death Magnetic and swap now that we’re dead with halo on fire (I like the drum part and all but Halo is a better song and it’s only 7-8 mins instead of 10)

Everybody watches whether James had grown old or good at singing, does Lars use double bass and Kirk plays solo as a studio recording. You are crazy!Who should they prove in their years and after so many successful releases? Whether anyone can accept the fact that each of us will grow old, the voice is of course wasted and if Lars does not use a double bass, there is certainly a reason why he does not. Of course, that's his thing. They all played it all the time on those studio footage that you criticize them now. Their songs and their career are a good reason to enjoy and be grateful that they still exist and give us the opportunity to watch the best heavi metal band of all time

AJFA was their fourth album, they had been touring for almost 10 years and were much more polished as musicians. Naturally, that album would be more technically proficient. However, the level of playing on Ride the Lightning and the insane creativity compared to the fact that they were so young and it was only their second album is what makes it so amazing to me. It's my favorite Metallica album and IMO the best Thrash album ever.
yeah besides the fact that he skips ALL fills from the album version. He just playing it straight and trying to get the tempo correct. It´s not a good performace. Ok at best

This 2018 Metallica is pretty badass. Been a fan since mid 80's & I have to say they sound pretty awesome! I got front row tix for Cincinnati in January of '19!! Bringing my 13 yr old daughter & we will have our Master of Puppets tees on!! 🤟🎸
They always gotta throw in a couple "deep cuts" in every show. They played the very 1st rock concert at the new US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis 2016 and I got to see them play Leper Messiah. That was bad ass! Even though James forgot to sing the part "wichery weakening...." he realized it like 4 or 5 songs later and they replayed that part of the song. I consider that a fantastic save! lol.
When I was a kid I saw Metallica for the first time at the Route 66 Speedway in Joliet Il. I was in nosebleed and didn't really take it in. The next time I saw them was in 2017 at Soldier Field. I was able to get up in the front row and even got a handshake from Rob after the show, two Soldier Field Met picks and some amazing photos that will let me relive that memory forever. Glad they've kept this tour going on for so long and given the fans more than they could ever want. And now....more S&M....These guys are unstoppable. Here's to another decade of MetallicA!!!

This was my third time seeing METALLICA ( i saw them in San Diego '17 and in San Francisco '18 for Band Together relief concert) and they were both sooooooo Amazing and the greatest concerts i have been too. But this song made the whole concert,since i first heard this song (only 6 years ago) this was always my favorite song from them or any other band. METALLICA is hands down my favorite band of all time and this was one the greatest night of my life. And i had a sore neck and no voice for two days after this concert,and it was totally worth it. I completely lost it when they started playing the intro and before James came in with the killer lyrics there were tears running down face. Thank you James, Kirk, Lars, and Rob for rocking so hard!

One of favorites from back in the day and they sounded really good doing it. I'm glad they are putting more time into rehearsing the older classics and not just fudging through them like they were at the beginning of the HW tour.
At this show, I was there to watch the Lords of THRASH METAL for my third time!!! Never been displeased listening to their THRASH METAL!!!! BOW or be beheaded!!!!
They sound extremely tight, and this is another incredible performance. Kirk and Lars seem to have been practicing a lot, and James has this rasp back which I love. But I still odn't get why they have to cut down the Justice songs. Perhaps they feel better playing them like this, but whenever they do one of these hardcore Justice songs and cut it down, I get a little disappointed. Not that anyone should care, just my two cents.

I had the meanest mullet in the land when this album was originally released.....now the best I could achieve is a skullet like my boy Lars. Awesome song though! This one was my instant favourite when I first heard Justice….and they still do it Justice!
