It's not a P3 but a genuine P4, the only one remaining in original shape. This car had number 6 in Brands hatch driven by Jackie Stewart on BOAC race in 1967, the P4 was word champion , Porsche was second
Yes!!
Absolutely correct. I was surprised when the car was labelled a P3. This is the BOAC car.
I come to TH-cam to learn about classic racers like this one, and expect the Goodwood Road and Racing channel to give me the straight goods . For the narrator to get this car's model designation wrong -- he calls it a P3 when in fact it is a very different P4 -- you have to wonder how such a huge gaffe could have made it through the multiple levels of writing, editing, and production needed for such a complex video. We know Goodwood has all the money in the world, and yet errors like this make me wonder whether the king is wearing any clothes.
I love how in the vid he says p3, The title which is right with is p4, and from my research they are 3 p3, and 3 p4s atleast
what is word champion dude???
Sir Jackie!!! There is a man who has gifted us with his time and efforts.
I was Lucky enough to meet Sir Jackie on the pit road of Daytona. Like a long lost friend, what a human gem!
Yeah, definitely top 5 best looking cars of all time in my book. I'd love to own a replica of this car some day!
Is it wrong to think it is ugly? Looks like a giant ant or something. I tried liking it, but I just can't. Sounds great though
@@DrinkWater713 And what kind of cars do you like?
Edit: Still waiting for specific examples. Also, this car is basically a sports car with round, flowy shapes, so I can't even begin to understand where you're coming from, except that you're trying to be contrarian for the sake of it.
@@jeffw8218 I usually like sports cars that have round, "flowy" shapes. Don't like sharp corners, agressive noses or pointly angles.
Can’t decide between P4 and D-Type.
@@DrinkWater713 its okay its a matter of taste i think there are better looking ferraris
"If this was a beauty pageant, then we just lost"
Looks aren't everything
Cbr 3
Even in performance this Ferrari could still give the other contenders a run for their money. The GT40s victory was still not easy, and ironically with the track changes Ferrari would’ve had far better chances had it not been for Porsche and Ferrari’s F1 department pulling all the resources for Le Mans in the 70s.
That was just a great line. Wasn't it ?
Ford. If the was a beauty pageant we lost me watching Ford vs Ferrari. No if this was a beauty pageant you won hands down
@@GBURGE55 the GT40 was the best looking car to me
Many, many thanks for showing this. Jackie Stewart in a P4, awesome.
I can't stop looking this video, this Ferrari is hypnotic!
Ferrari P3, Ford GT40 MKII, Porsche 908, I spent my childhood happily mowing the living room carpet with gorgeous toy models of these legendary sports cars😊
I liked the 906 ( Carrera 6) My folks bought me Automobile year in 67, I was 13. Still have it with the story of Le Mans in 66, Grand Prix cars. A bit early for this around 67 from memory. It was bloody quick. There was 1 in Australia driven by Spencer Martin , owned by David McKay.
In 1966, my grandfather gave my brother and I a 1/32 scale racing set for Christmas. I picked the Ferrari 250LM leaving my brother control of the Ford GT40. I still have the set!
and porsche 917
Being such a rare and historically significant car, it's pretty obvious that even a top notch driver wouldn't risk pushing it to the max. That's a reasonably brisk but still very safe and conservative drive.
It's funny, but it's often harder to drive a race car slowly given their tendency to go fast. Most of those cars either overheat or stall given the lighter components, escpecially flywheels. The way Richard Attwood drove his 917 up the hill is how most race cars like to be driven, with a bit of pace.
Yes, the only thing that really matters with a race engine is reliable power with the throttles wide open, all other as spects of engine performance mean nothing in comparison.
Yes it's Jackie Stewart, but he's an old man now. I seriously doubt that he'd really want to drive much faster than that these days.
Well done Sir Jackie, you are a legendary part of my childhood, and a treasured part of racing history 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
Thank you Mr. Stroll. Wise not to let your son drive. :-0

Met Sir Jackie once in New York City -well -he was sitting with a young lady at an outdoor cafe -I was walking by and mouthed hello Jackie and he waved!
The most beautiful automobile ever built, What a beast, a masterpiece, Scuderia Ferrari.
absolutely not! quite ugly honestly!
In Autosport magazine back in the early 80s Doug Nye wrote an occasional series of articles called "Yesterday's Cars". After a few F1 and earlier singles seaters Doug started his next article with:
"What about covering a sports car in the series?" they said. "Right ho," I said "how about the Ferrari P4?"
"Corrrrr..." they said...
My favourite racing car, my favourite racing author... what's not to love?
Oh and lets not forget the P4 and its updated P3 siblings won the World Sports Car Championship of 1967. Not bad eh?
These are cars worth dreaming about, beautiful design, great sound and still so fast.
Adoro come Sir jackie Stewart guida con delicatezza, come suonare uno strumento musicale
JYS looks really cool in that Ferrari; BTW I was lucky enough to be at the Daytona International Speedway (was 10 years old) on Feb. 4-5 1967 when Enzo Ferrari's fabulous P4s crossed the finish line three abreast in a dominant 1-2-3 victory. Ford never knew what hit them in that incredible race. All the GT40s died out on the racetrack, their corpses where everywhere in the paddock long before the race ended. But the P4s ran like clocks right to the end. Fantastic memory.
Absolutely beautiful car. I still like the 365 gtb4 (Daytona) better, though, every since I saw a picture of it after Gurney and Yates drove it in the Cannonball Baker back in the early 1970's. Ferrari has made lots of beautiful cars. Cheers, Enzo, wherever you are.
Jackie is one of the very few people who can, not only "do", but can "teach" as well. His movie "Weekend of a Champion" does a magnificent job of explaining how to corner in a way that makes perfect sense. He explains the essential matter of the "relationship" between the driver and the car. His commentary and car/driver philosophy have help me immensely with my very powerful race/street car.
The 330 P3 and P4 are the most perfect Ferraris ever built, sleek, low, beautiful, and most importantly... fast.
And the sound, don't forget the symphony of this V12 🤤
Probably add the '69 312P to that list
Jackie Stewart, did drive Matra as well, he is equally famous for driving those cars, as he was famous for driving the Tyrrell's
Those Matras were special! When people talk of operatic engine notes, they always mention Ferrari V12s, but the Matras were every bit as sublime.
Saw a P3/P4 once. It looks a whole lot better in pictures than in person -- quite a surprise.
Vraiment la plus belle voiture jamais construite conduite par un maître du pilotage. I have to go to Goodwood . It’s absolutly unique
A Masterpiece!
Jackie Stewart is a legend 🏎️🏁🏆😎👍
Might be the MOST beautiful racecar ever
Forza Ferrari ! 🏎️🇮🇹 Thank you Sir Jackie Stewart !
My one and only dream car..!
This car was depicted in the anime Speed Racer, driven by Skull Duggery of the Alpha team. Loved the car in the cartoon as a kid. Even more impressive in reality!
Che macchina 😍
Che pilota 🎩
bruhhh, a bit of a daft comment but the accuracy that Forza Horizon 5 has achieved with this car with both the sound and the look it’s just impeccable
It's a P4, not a P3. This is chassis number 0856. According to Ferrari chassis number 0858 was the P4 that Jackie Stewart raced to 2nd place at the BOAC 500 at Brands Hatch in 1967 with Chris Amon, not this car.
Una meraviglia !!! Concentrato di bellezza , forza ed eleganza ! Maurizio
Beautiful car!
the MOST beautiful car ever
I agree, man.
Qui c'è il massimo del massimo. Uno stupendo pilota, il grandissimo Jackie Stewart, sulla più stupenda delle Ferrari, la più formosa e sexy auto da corsa del mondo. Armonia assoluta tra tecnologia ed estetica. 👍👍👍👏👏👏❤️
Wow
What a car
What a car!!!
Perfect Timing. Just right after the movie, wich i really enjoyed by the way, the 330 finds it way to the Goodwood FOS of the next year. Awesome!
디자인, 소리, 모든 것이 아름답다❤😊 Everything is beautiful
There are more beautiful cars than this but it's still a lovely iconic machine
Don't think so
Please cite them so we can laugh at you.
GT40.
@@iunnox666 There is nothing cutting edge about gt40 , its design is Lola mk6 ripoff.
@@darkseid1358 Cutting edge? I'm saying it's more beautiful.
Quanto avrei voluto Sir Jackie alla scuderia Ferrari nei '60-70!
Stunning!
Wow, very lovely car! John P.
wow what a car
Jackie sees under the wheel, funny thing. I remember when he drove the Gurney's Eagle F1 and barely reached the pedals.
The P4 was beautiful but the 312P Berlinetta was the most beautiful Ferrari sports racing car of all, in my opinion.
Great car, great driver!!
Sir Jackie also drove a 250 LM in a 12 hour race on the old Surfers Paradise circuit in Australia in 1966 which he won.
The only other Ferrari that I know he raced was a 275 P2 patnered with Graham Hill during the '65 Nurburgring 1000km. It was entered by Maranello concessionaires. He may have done more ?
Beautiful car and story line
Sir Jackie Stewart was/has been my idol as driver ever since I was a wee lad!
I'll bet Lawrence Stroll won't let Lance anywhere near this beauty!
The most perfect Car EVER!!!
After the Dino 206SP, the most beautiful race cars were the P3/4’s.
jackie lenda viva
Of all people to own it, honestly.
Красиво, ребята.
А что до Джекки - он лучший парень на Земле.
He's not driving it the way he did at Brands Hatch. I was waiting to hear it under full throttle at top revs. That sound as he or Chris Amon exited Druids hairpin...
Yes, that's exactly where I saw them, the dream team of Stewart & Amon, both in practice and the race. As you say, the sound as they exited and, insofar as I can analyse my memories, came on cam. Have a listen in-car and to David Piper's 250 LM in the YT video: "World's Fastest 330P4. watch beyond 1m 10s. Best sounds racing David Piper Ferrari 250LM. Top ten."
You're wrong.!!! The P4 was the answer to Ford's 123 at LeMans. The P4 had the enlarged F1 engine, a non-Ferrari transaxle, slightly wider track and altered wheelbase along with altered body dimensions (which makes it less attractive than the P3 as evidenced with side-by-side reaction ALWAYS has more people gathered around the P3)
The P3 had. a ZF transaxle. Most of the P3's retirements in 1966 were gearbox failures. The P4s had a Ferrari trans.
Wonder what would be the price for this beautiful beast?
Probably 20-30 million dollars as it's a real one.
The only remaining most beautiful version of the P series - $50 million minimum. It’s just stunning to look at, to hear and to review its accomplishments. It’s a future $100 million car without hesitation because it’s perfect.
@@wraitheful yep..
P4!!!!
Is a GTO in second lace
Several cars of that era and class tended towards similar shapes, i.e. Porsche 910
Uh.... CLOSE, but NO, That would be the 312P!!
Lovely they let these old bits of kit out once in a while to 'stretch their legs'. Nice one Nuff said. 🙂
The most beautiful car was/is the 250 LM. Hands down!
Both actually.
Tipo 33/3 LM actually.
Absolutely love this car, and it’s a massive shame it’s owned by stroll.
Oh, and why's that ??
@@marcryvon because stroll is a snob and a very arrogant man, also whines when things don’t go his way. Plus cars like that should be owned by someone who understands the importance and history and respects that not just the Price tag and the press you would receive, I’m sure he’s learnt about the car but only to try and avoid coming across like someone in my previous statement.
Stroll sold the car last year. Now s/n 0856 is owned by a french man.

Very nice, but I prefer the Alfa Romeo 33.
She is wonderful a Ferrari, she is a beautiful Ferrari. To me she is not the most beautiful car ever, not the most beautiful Ferrari ever. I have always been drawn to a Porsche and a Ferrari. I feel the original 250 GTO is the most beautiful car ever made. Second is the Porsche 917K in any livery but I like the Gulf livery because it's so simple, so clean.
The Ferrari 330 p4 was better looking than the Enzo in my opinion.
The Enzo is not a very attractive car.
In my personal opinion
He should be driving a
Jaguar !😮
Could you re-post without the commentators talking over the sound of the car?
Nichts ist schöner wie ein 250 Gto
Title implies he will drive an E-type…
Tipo 33 or P4.... hmm
Should of done 2 laps!
Porsche 917
Hello :)
If only the commentator would shut up
Qatar Airways is fine for me 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
YES, IT'S A SPECIAL MOMENT SO COULD YOU PLEASE NOT TALK NONSTOP?!?!!!!!!!!!!
... the most beautiful car ever... who say that?
Looks like a gt40 copy lol
Nice GT40 replica.
There are beautiful cars and then there is the 330 P4. There are no maybe.
Let him far from a Jaguar...
Is this car worth 5 million Pounds maybe?
Try 20mill or more
lol waaaaay more
Since it is the only surviving original, is in immaculate condition, and has an incredible racing history it is probably worth $50 million dollars in a heartbeat.
Put a 2 in front of that 5 and you might be somewhere near.
It's a beautiful car, but I was distracted by the monster Porsche behind it..
No. The most beautiful car ever is an Alfa 33 Stradale.
Let's listen to useless commentary instead of the car
"Jackie Stewart drives the most beautiful car ever"
Odd, that's not a Jaguar E-Type.
Even more surprising, it’s not a base-spec Dacia Sandero
doesn't look like a fiat punto to me
Doesn’t look like a lada riva too me
can't hear the car over the babble
So if we could stop talking throughout the entire video... would much rather hear the glorious sounds of the machine than a repetitive babble. It adds nothing.
Oh I say, splendid. Just capital!
Let's keep up a stream of repetitive pratter so nobody can enjoy the uninterrupted sounds from the car shall we?
It sounds terrible.
if u have a car like this on ur festival, speak less and listen more..
Just another geezer who shouldn't have his license renewed driving too slowly an old car.
I'm sure he's forgotten more about racing and driving than you will ever know, and is still a faster driver than you are.
That old geezer just happens to be one if the most profound open wheel legends of the old world drivers around
