I had to do the same, and watching this has brought me joy. It reminds me of my childhood and makes me reflect on where I am now and what I should do to honor the happy child I once was.
Ok gather round kids it’s story time: so from the moment this game was revealed and the GameCube I wanted nothing more for Christmas from when I was 5 till I got it at 8 and I was so happy (plus the year before at 7 I got a teal gameboy color and super Mario bros. deluxe) and my older cousin would help me try and beat levels when he was around but sadly we never beat it and he passed away when I was 16 so when they made Mario 3d all stars I was so happy because I had a chance to finally beat it after all these years for both of us and I finally did beat it on March 8th 2018
I Absolutely Love playing *Super Mario Sunshine* from my Childhood Years! So glad they made this a part of *Super Mario 3D All-Stars* Video Game for the Nintendo Switch! I love seeing Bowser and Bowser Jr. in this game! Bowser Jr. was Super Cunning, Smart, Mischievous and Evil, to disguise himself as Shadow Mario, paint over Isle Delfino, and framed Mario for the whole Painting Fiasco in this game.

The memories.. My brother loved this game. I watched him play to it every day. The game seemed longer to me. But when we are kids, it is different than now. 6 hours seems ridiculous, it was huge and very long in my mind. The delfino plaza was a huge memory, I remember the place more than the goal of the game lmaao
Ive juat ordered the super mario all stars 3d for the switch and i am SO excited to play this again!! My fav game on the game cube! I never beat it but always wanted to see what the rest of the game has to offer. I had to watch some game play!
I work at a car wash and whenever we close we have to pressure wash and hose down the tunnel. I always like to play this song in my head because it reminds me of the actual game where Mario has to use F.L.U.D.D to spray down the plaza

What’s so great about this game is that the characters are actually talking and they have voice actors, unlike other Mario games where there’s just grunts and sound affects Edit: and there’s also real cutscenes
Just started my playthrough last night and I have not played in like 18 years lol I never beat it but it is my favorite since it the only game that has somewhat of a story and voice acting.
