You don’t want too much grease because it could be too thick and the drill won’t run as smooth but you still want to put a generous amount on, if not the gears and inner pets will wear faster

Cool video, I have a question. Can a ryobi 7.2 volt battery be repurposed to a higher voltage Li-ion like you did in this video? I have a older ryobi driver drill 7.2 volt and the battery is no good anymore. It won't charge at all.
Can you use the existing charger or do you apply voltage from an modern LiPo cell charger? There must be millions of these reasonably well made tools, now abandoned because they were designed for NiMh battery packs. I have two lovely 14.4v NiMh Drill drivers. but only 3 working batteries. If I could buy new LoPo cells for them I would.

Those VTC6 18650 cells what he used are counterfeit. Original VTC6 battery has 3rd line whitch says Murata INR19/66. You can find those cells in all major chinese sites like aliexpress.
i'd love to see you filter and try to reclaim and get the MCR-51 rust remover back to as our as you could, I know it still works when its dirty, but would be interesting to see you purify it nevertheless
