Well, what do you know, a chisel mortiser. You did a beautiful job restoring it to working order. It looks much better and it works like a charm too. Very excellent work.
Great Job! Fantastic tool. Expensive in the USA.... Just a slight FYI, usually you would drill all the way through the wood, to make a perfect rectangular opening for the mortise you are trying to make......
Very good video. One of the best I've seen in weeks, I subscribe to a lot of restoration channels, yours is one of the best out there. Congratulations !!!
Normally, this type of machine is not broken due to overuse, it is just that it has been used for a short time but has been stored for a long time. 普通この種の機械は、使い過ぎて壊れてるのではなくて、使用時間は短いけど、保管期間が長いだけです
That is not even that old, it was expensive. I have a similar one that was used for putting the hole in doors for the flat, long rectangular door locks. Still works good for when I need a mortise. It has slotted screws so you know it is old.
While I can appreciate the effort and the end result this stretches the definition of the word restoration. The mortiser was complete and in working order when it was acquired. It was disassembled, cleaned, painted and reassembled. This is more of a refresh.
grouse work mate she looks lovely afterwards with the restoration results plus the On/Off Switch is a good type too and i,m impressed that it still works to it,s age and day too yep top notch that one and yep the old gear always has a good use out there for sure and that one looks like a Makita brand to me seeing the red letters on there and even though i cannot read the letters very well it looks like it,s made in Japan to me personally but yeah always a good bit of hardware to use in the workshop or shed for sure and that one looks amazing with solid construction qaulity plus a good build it,s day of manufacturing too and cheers from Australia or the Land Down under 🐨🐑 🦘🌴🌳🇦🇺 🍂to your area and yes it,s our annual Autumn/Fall season here atm too.

Are you from Thor's family?
I'm asking because of your hammer. ⚒
A ridiculous number of parts. I would have given up and taken it to the skip! Well done.
Very good!
I'm from Americana SP Brasil.
I’ve gotta find me one of these or even the manual one.
Why didn't you clean the on and off switch and housing??
Đục lỗ như thế này thì đơn giản 😂
What type of sand is it?

😢😢😢 No electrostatic paint.
No primer??
No, I don't use primer. This metal is enough.

It seems people don't now the difference between restoration and cleaning stuff. This was a cleaning and greasing job.

I'm glad you didn't use the original color of paint. That dirty pink was a terrible color.
It is more like a bronze color, many machines used it...and silver, and this color.
Bro please any contact information 🙏 please
The final result in wood is not satisfying
It is a test, there is adjustments that are done for each job that you do.
This isn"t possible, you"ve obviously used AI to make this video. ::sees sweaty t-shirt:: Ok, fair enough...Carry on.
