Anything Victory brings a lot of nostalgia for me. As good as the Goldwing is, its nowhere near as cool and raw as riding the XC was, I miss that bike. Luckily I do most of my riding off-road now, so I don't have to miss it too much. 😉
Agreed, I remember reading they feared it would create too much internal competition. However, I think they over estimated how much of the fan base would stay loyal to Indian.
@@johnmclean4151 I agree, even though the Challenger / pursuit are basically on cross country frames. In fact, the 108 Powerplus engine I first saw being tested on what was supposed to be the 2020 Victory. I think it will actually bolt in. I wish they would make a batwing version of the pursuit , mbe the “Indian Victor “ and give it at least rounded top saddlebags and a Victory style fairing. The DNA is the same as is the wheel stance and the suspension.
Those mid controls are terribly hard to find. I'm a huge fan of mids especially when I bought the Vegas. They're just more comfortable for me because it helps prevent that cruiser clam shell, rounded lower back ache.
scromments are for kids....lol like the fact you leave in the humanity.... Here Come The Judge! I remember the Pontiac commercials, and I agree this is the great bike for the dollar but like both my bikes a touch more,12 highball & 14 xc.
Love the Vic content! You guys convinced me to buy my 15’ XC! Pairs well with my 17’ octane

Wow, my 2013 Cross country only has 107,000 on it but I would love to have that bike. Great vid 👍🍻thank you.

Agreed, our Victory's are always nostalgic.
Looks like some how it has Buell turn signals.
In my opinion,Polaris should have kept producing Victory motorcycles along side of Indian, Victory had much better styling.
