I'm a passionate old biker. I watch the telly too. Henry Cole keeps me entertained, as do his co-presenters. After I got used to him, I could watch his programmes till further notice ! 😊 Well done HCA ! 😊
Unfortunately Cole is not funny , although he thinks he is. The Flunkys that follow him are as bad. With the exception of Alan Millyard. His purile and cowardly style of riding , barely exceeding 40 mph ! As soon as you put him on anything with decent performance he bricks it, wobbling along, an embarrassment.

I dont own a m/bike, I have never even ridden one, I know bugger all about them But I like this show, its light hearted and you can tell he is passionate about them He has had quite a checkered past, but its now what counts I'd like to meet up with all of them one day (I might learn something ) I hope to see more of his shows, I think I have watched them all now I dont give a toss how much he has in the bank, he has earned it, had ups and downs Still here though

You just don't seem to get it do you.. i'll put it like this : Would some car club where you had to own a supercar like for example the Aston Martin members club welcome a member with open arms who say was a lottery winner off a council estate in Moss side, Madchester and spoke like a mad oike? No, they would not, they'd tolerate him, humour him and otherwise give him a wide berth ordinarily ! Likewise most real bikers old skool like me are a bit older than Henry and came from poor disadvantaged backgrounds and never had anyone there for them and to offer help. so excuse some of us for not liking and accepting hooray henry plastic bikers !
Henry is well known among the UK bike clubs such as the VJMC among others. His early presentations were somewhat clumsy and a little boring. However, he has honed those skills over time to the point of addictive attention. Kudos to him. I see him, Skid and Allen Millyard at many shows. I first met Allen Millyard in the early/mid nineties as members of the Kawasaki Triples Club founded by Rick Brett. I recently saw all of them at the Somerset Festival of Transport. Luckily for me Allen spotted a loose tank mount that had dropped on to the exhaust of my 500cc H1F. I wondered why the tank was rattling. That's the joy of owning 50 year old motorcycles.
He's great with a yellow duster. As an advert for Eton ? He's very THICK. I've changed my mind, he's not thick at all, it's all part of his sense of humour. Has to have a small group of engineering 'savvy's' with him when he buys stuff, then he sells the stuff on to his gullable mates for a small profit. But overall his programs are origin viewing & pleasant to fall asleep watching on an afternoon with a glass of beer and my feet up.
He's a bit like a latter day Jack Hargreaves, except Jack Hargreaves actually did stuff and not just pay lip service and lounge around with his hands in his pockets.🤔

Yes, it is a little odd. Saw him and the team (without Sam) live recently and his style is a lot more normal when not in front of a camera. He probably gets a bit bored by multiple retakes, where as a true natural presenter can fake it. They (the team) came across as having a very natural chemistry live, perhaps the programs could benefit from allowing Millyard and Skid a bit more room to be themselves in.
