Well we’re all now waiting to see you work on that, that, that, that and that plus the others around your yard. Keep up the great work Al and Fudgey.
That VW looked very respectable once put back together with its grill & bumper back after engine transplanted 😊
Brilliant stuff! First time ive found a video explaining adjusting the timing whilst plugged into the diagnostics. Cheers
Hi Al, loved the video, I laughed like a mad man and got told off by nurses like a little school boy lol. I haven't forgotten you buddy iv just been rather poorly and been receiving treatment. As soon as I am able I will be in touch. Cheers, John 👍🙂👍

i bet that clattered when the belt let go, shame about the minibus but many others will live on because of its sacrifice, another entertaining video, thanks Al.
I was doing a job at the morgue in Sixpenny Handley for a few days week before last. I was going to pop in and say Hi but realised you were away. Lovely quiet place, dead where I was working 😉

Nice for fudge to be able spend time on an older and easier vehicle to work on.
As always great video guys good

Makes me want to get the LT over to you for all the rusty bits! Still undecided 🤦😅
Much much better the lights well 👍👍👍👍👍👍 done
I was hoping you'd put a video up whilst I'm on holiday in Dorset. 😊 BTW you can say tosser, twice. 😂
Hoodie season is approaching fast, what you doing about it?
Good to see you back from France 🇫🇷👍
nice job there al
Another great video has always al and fudgie 👍
recently went to calais, thought ill check my kia's headlights for the trick u said, and blow me they swap to leftyy hookky,,,!!! thanks for the info, ho knew
A please 👍
We used to keep them around 55+ with new belts, they tend to retard when aging... did them with running engine, rotating the tensioner and idler, kind of a concentric...
There's something to be said for non-interference engines, like, no valve smashing if someone got lazy and didn't do the belt in time... :P
SAD really for sake of cam belt kit. IE change water pump belt & tenstioneer older stuff 50- 75.000 mile 4 , 5 years this would no t happen . STILL keeps u in work .
Wondered where you'd gone.
All to common on the LT's unfortunately, that's why I moved to sprinters
Another good un al are the 5 cylinder merc an Volkswagen lt 's the same engine? . The 5cyl sprinters I drove would show at least 110 . Loved driving them . The got a 4cly one that was limited to 72 ish😪. Think my 5cyl was on a V and my first 4 clyd on a X . Loved driving them 👌
Sadly not the five cylinder merc is utterly indestructible and has a timing chain sadly the Vw had the rubbish rubber belt! But if you keep them up to date they go forever 👍
This is the man who knows his stuff I'm guessing does he know if I can swap ujs on mercedes sprinter prop myself
You can but ! It’s not easy as they are one time fit and have no c clips . Engineering needed
Still waiting for a battery company to sponsor you al
Lol so are we !! You never know 👍
Well guys awsome job what a team . Really interesting great attention to detail cant wait for the next video . Out of interest do you know of any mk1 renault master or messenger braking down your way ?
All the best . Mark and Emily at Rooster Recovery
I’ve got some body panels off of a B120 sat here
@@6DDIESELSDorset if I send you an email address would you be able to send a picture when you have a spare minute
Hi Al is the DS 150 suitable for the VW crafter as an all round diagnostic tool?
It’s not bad works up to 2016 as a copy unless you want to fork out the £1500-200 a year for a proper one 👍
👍@@6DDIESELSDorset
I just knackered my 2.8 .put new intercooler in it then accidentally to much oil now its goosed i could of cried . And cant get an engine anywhere in scotland
Like gold dust!!! I’ve got some 131 parts but 158 complete engine are crazy to even find these days
@@6DDIESELSDorset one or two on ebay ,1600 pound then its that old will this engine be goosed also nitemare. I've not actually checked engine yet bit sounded like bottom end crunchy grindy sweetness
I’ve got cranks and pistons if needed it’ll be a cheaper way out 👍
