Upon first opening this project I checked out what trickery the bass was made out of only to discover it was all stock legacy plugins which really confronted me with the fact that it really doesn't matter that much what you use but how you use it. Don't let your eyes trick your ears kind of thing basicly.

I am mindblown by how many sounds are made by several instances of 3xOsc. You can do crazy stuff with the simplest tools, you just have to know how to use them right. ;)
a lot of popular synths out there only have 3 oscillators as well, they just give you more tools to jack around with the sounds built in. but 3x is definitely a super powerful tool, just made very simple to use, and combine it with a bunch of other built in effects and you can achieve much of the same stuff you can get using a synth like serum or pigments if you know your way around the software.
Surely it just had to be said, that this is an outrageous amount of work, great work for a demo song. Holy shit, man went all in. Showed what you can do if you know your daw, and your plugins In a good way, it makes you realise you've a lot of work to do. Goal, learn more and don't get stuck thinking you know everything. Infinite possibilities

That bass is so good. Inspired me so much I did a lot of 3xOsc stuff after hearing the project. Made me super interested in making automations, i loved the project.
what i see here is even in the most complex projects there's space for the very old plugins like Fruity Fast LP, from the legacy FL. So doesn't mater if is old/obsolete, what is mater is how you use it.
Honestly, as soon as I saw the track on the demo songs tabs, I reviewed it entirely so I already knew how the track was made😂. But I still had to watch the video bcs it's always fun seeing producers explain their music ^^. (Especially when the track is that good).
Funny story, I'm really glad I played WarioWare D.I.Y. as a kid and using video editing software that _has_ track layers so this doesn't seem _as_ alien as it would to someone new to this tech period. Studying these sounds and set ups is actually really cool and is showing me, someone new to FL Studio, how this is all built or how it goes.
at first i was overwhelmed by the sheer number of clips and nuances he had in his arrangements, but he said it himself, alot of the stuff added very subtle changes pretty much undetectable to the ear. It was a banger for sure but definitely over produced
@@oliverturner5237 I know Patcher and I know I can redirect to another channel. But the mixer channels are also too few, and I don't like to use the patcher :( I bet if there are more slots, everyone will use them.
Agreed! We need more slots but also the option to expand the mixer tracks by just right clicking on a track and then choose "insert one". And those who don't need that could simply ignore that feature. It wouldn't clutter anything but just be handy for when you need it.
looking at this is mostly ok but 2 important things. first affect us as a vocoder is not truly an vocoder but rather the effect called formant filter. Second the control of the dynamics inside maximus looks like heavy saturation then heavy compression :)
After Watching this Breakdown I’m Convinced that the Third plug-ins are Over Hyped. If you are only a Producer from Whatever genre doesn’t matter then The FL stock plugins are Pretty enough if you know how to use it
I was wondering when would be the time to unlock the 125 tracks and 10 effects limits that FL has. Like per every channel that appears in the channel rack, make it available in the in the mixer track and the playlist. I know patcher is there, but it is not same. Though, i gotta say FL 21 have been an impactful upgrade.

We've been encouraging customers to look at what comes with FL Studio first. Exhaust that (if you can) then look at 3rd party plugins.
i've been using fl studio for about 11 years and this has to be my favorite newstuff track, really shows how powerful this DAW is
