Wow I did what you said in the this tutorial step by step(minus a few plugins that I didn't have) and my mix sounds way better than it's ever had and i've been producing for over 10 years now please please please don't ever delete this video ever keep it up
I suggest gain staging every channel plugins so you don't clip your plugins input/output. Unless you're going for that sound, but if it sounds good, it's good I guess 🤷🏽♂️
You did the video. Very good stuff. A couple of tips. This used to mess me up for a long time. Gain staging, Especial as you processing sound from one plugin to the next. You were clipping your EQ for example. Ozone likes things to go in around -6dB that includes the imager but Neutron around -12. All plugins have a sweet spot for the level the audio should go in before processing. I think a lot of people miss this and these things are important to keep a eye one ,unless your going into the red for a creative purpose. I basically use the same plugins as you with a few exceptions. I use a different DAWs but yeah I have a similar process as you. One thing I do different is that I calculated all the proper times for attack and release with a bpm to millisecond calculator. I do it for all my compressors and limiters even halftime or shaperbox stuff, all of it I calculate to match the time of the beat.
thanks for the advice, I really appreciated the comment, for the question of millisecond calculation I prefer to use my ears and if the compressor sounds good I leave it like that. Just for curiosity what calculation are you do ?
@@R3versalOfficial Nothing wrong with going by ear but Im a bit OCD I guess haha. I usually base all my millisecond time in relation to the tempo of the track. Not always but often. So if I want a short attack on a compressor I'd try a 128 of a note in relation to the bpm of the song for example. I don't think many people go so far unless your into sound engineering maybe. I think about the maths a bit I guess to put it simply. Or what I'm doing is lining up all the millisecond timers with the beat grid essentially if that makes more sense. Now I 'm not saying it's better or to do it like me, however I tend to do it a lot that's all. It can create a extra bounce or pumping effect type feeling if used on certain elements of a song. Something to consider. Good video looking forward to more. I love your beats. Your a fantastic composer.
@@R3versalOfficial I know, just that if you put other effects on the master under the clipper, they can boost the volume, making the clipper not work well, because it cuts everything above 0 Db, but before the effects and not after, in my opinion, the clipper at the end of the chain is a must, just my advice, you do what you want

Thank you for this video! I wonder whenever you mastering your track don't you check the LUFS level? 🤔🤔
Yes I go for around -10, in general I rely a lot on my ears
Do i need to add the 808 also into the drum bus?
Yes I do

Oh my God. What a beautiful and talented girl
Thank u so much 🙏🏻💗
Chi qui solo perché sei la producer migliore più bona e simpatica di tutta la scena?
Grazie 💞👀
idk whenever im watching you i have a feeling that you are high 😆😆😆
I don’ t smoke 😂
Queen, u should use clipper last in chain in my opinion
I use the soft clipper while I produce so I prefer to put it on from the beginning 💞

It’s a tutorial for beginners , but I’ll do another video part with my top 5 mixing secrets that changed my workflow
Pls do not take my laugh personally...simply sharing my perspective...not trying to be rude or smth.
You have uad plugins?
@@amazeus1980 yes my answer was also in a kind tone, yes I only have a few compressors and the pultec 🔥🔥
I mix my beats with universal audio plugin and maximus they hit harder as F.
Yes everyone have a different process and different plugin, the important thing is that the beat sounds good 🔥🙏🏻
Send me the preset
I’ m thinking to put in my new bundle
I hope you don’t take any offense to my comment 🥺
No problems, i ‘ ll consider it
The sample is so fire but the drums are weak ..
