- Tripreports. Airline Trip Report - Bangkok Airways Economy Class Inflight Flight Review. This is an Airline Trip Report of our flight with Bangkok Airways from Koh Samui Airport in Thailand to Kuala Lumpur Airport in Malaysia. The Flight Review covers our arrival at Koh Samui Airport, our check-in for our Bangkok Airways Flight and the Baggage Drop process.
After Checking-in for our flight the viewer is given a view of the departure gate before we move to the "Bangkok Airways Courtesy Corner" (The courtesy corner is a passenger service that offers Bangkok Airways Economy Class passengers complimentary non-alcoholic hot and cold beverages and snacks at the departure gate while waiting for boarding (Bangkok Airways Business Class passengers have their own separate lounge).
Onboard the aircraft, a Bangkok Airways Airbus A319 we discuss the legroom onboard, show the amenities we are given, skim through the inflight magazine and Inflight Duty Free Shopping Catalog. Following a look at the Inflight Magazine and Inflight Duty Free Catalog the Bangkok Airways Inflight Meal Service begins alongside the Inflight Drinks service. We discuss and present the Inflight meals and Inflight drinks that we have chosen. The Inflight meal is a full hot meal and the Inflight drinks service includes alcoholic drinks. The Inflight Meal and Inflight drinks are complimentary. Our descent towards Kuala Lumpur Airport begins just after we have eaten. This Bangkok Airways flight (onboard a Bangkok Airways Airbus A319) does not offer passengers Inflight Entertainment Systems. The flight is so short so it is not even needed.
Our Impressions of Bangkok Airways:
- The cabin crew onboard this flight were warm, friendly and professional.
- For a 1 Hour and 30 Minute flight the meal and drinks service was fantastic. The quality of the meal served was better than many
others we have had on longer flights (flights over 10 hours).
Both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages were complimentary which is a service we always appreciate when flying Short-haul.
- The legroom in the Standard Economy Seat did not seem as much as we had on our inbound Koh Samui flight, onboard a similar Bangkok Airways Airbus A319.
- This airline offers all passengers complimentary light snacks and beverages at the airport gate. Who would not appreciate this excellent passenger service!
Verdict:
We have flown multiple times with Bangkok Airways and every flight has been a positive and memorable experience. We will gladly fly with this airline again and can easily recommend flying with them to fellow travelers. We look forward to our next flight with Bangkok Airways!

Now that is one cute little airport ! When you first arrived there I thought you were walking into a resort ! Lol that vapour from the vents I saw that for the first time on a Jetstar A320 out of the Gold Coast in Australia,have to admit it worried me at first but realising the flight crew were unconcerned I eventually dismissed it.The sunset inflight was spectacular,and the service with full meals on such a short haul flight was exemplary,Maxi you mentioned European carriers should take note,as should Australian domestic airlines.Well done again people ! and well done Bangkok Airways. If I can say just one more thing,the reason I love your channel so so much is because you guys answer to every single comment,that is brilliant and it means so much to your subscribers,I know I truly appreciate it,thankyou Maxi and Maro.
It is a lovely airport, we have a full tour of this airport in our Airports playlist. HeHe, we were also a little concerned the first time we saw the vapors coming from the ventilation system but have quickly learnt that that is a standard thing in Asia. Bangkok Airways is a fantastic airline and we always enjoy flying with them because of the high onboard (and ground) service provided to all passengers regardless of flight class. Glad to hear that you enjoy our our channel :-D

Hello Maxi and Maro! Thanks for sharing your travel experience on Bangkok Airways. The service is very good, especially when you compare Bangkok Airway's short-haul service to any of the US carriers. You'd never get that level of service on any short-haul US carrier. *sigh*

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Maro gulping down the coffee, made me laugh out loud. It was the funniest thing I have seen since Maxi's Korean food (dessert/starter) misadventure!

Great review! Truly loved the service onboard Bangkok Airways! Metal cutlery is indeed a great touch in Economy for a short flight! I do wonder why they no longer deploy the drop down screens during the flight. :)

Great airport and flight review! Love the unique layout of the Koh Samui Airport, looks like a great place to spend some time and an even better place to begin your island experience. Looks like the turbulence got a little nasty there for a minute too. Hope it was a good flight!

Amazing they using baby airbus 319 (based on A320 series) to fly point to point between regions , replacing Boeing 737-100-200 series aircraft and DC 9 series. I suppose there is no need for mutimedia screen in each seat because its couple of hours airflight only.
Most of the flights are short-haul, so not really a need for inflight entertainment. Have a good weekend!

very good and complete video. The airport is strange but very nice and diferent..The airline looks great,much better than some european airlines like Iberia or B. Airways which act like low costs where they won't give u anything but charge like common airlines.

Not quite the correct pronunciation, sorry ;) The a sound is pronunced more like the first a in "Aha!", only longer. The word (ฟ้า) means blue btw, and is also a part of the word sky (ท้องฟ้า). Nice trip report, as per usual! :)
