Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo Playthrough (1/8): Hsien-Ko

Hello everyone,
This may seem a bit of an odd game for me to play, given that I have not played a single Street Fighter game, but given that Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is a puzzle game, I thought that this would be a good game for me to try, and believe it or not, I actually like it! It's a fun, addicting puzzle game where you destroy gems to unleash attacks onto your opponent until they are defeated! There are a couple of characters that came from Darkstalkers, including Morrigan, Hsien-Ko, Donovan and Felicia.
Each character has their Counter Gem pattern that they throw at their opponents when they attack their opponents. To attack your opponent, you have to touch a Crash Gem to their corresponding Gem color. For instance, if you get a Red Crash Gem, and you place it next to a Red Gem, they both will be destroyed and you can deal damage to your opponent. Diamond Gems appear after placing enough Gems, and touching it next to ANY gem color will get rid of ALL of the Gems of that color, and can lead to creating combos. Example: Placing a Diamond Gem on a Red Gem will destroy ALL Red Gems and Red Crash Gems!
Note: This is done Hard difficulty

Nullpomino actually has a mode like this called “SPF”. It’s played in the same vein as this game where you use gems of the same color to send Garbage to the opponent.

Hello,
if you finish everytime you opponent with max gems, you can confront a hidden character named Devilot (with a counter gem card more challenging than Akuma).
Hsien Ko is my main too, sometimes i play Chun Li however she has the most punishing counter gem card (despite Dan) in my opinion.

That is very interesting! I actually didn't know that is how you can unlock Devilot! I do hope that I can pull it off soon!
Hsien-Ko is definitely my main, just because I like using her. Also, can't lie that Chun Li probably has the worst Counter Gem card out of the main character selection thanks to the fact if her opponent is smart, then can send a HUGE attack right back at her with no problem if they place if well.
