We used to jump from the top of a quarry into the water, everyone had water running shoes so they didn’t damage their feet. Everyone, thinks of water as soft but, the higher the jump the more pressure on the feet going into the water.
I agree with you 100%, that water can give your feet a good smack - but also might be zebra mussels too. Those things will slice your feet open pretty fast. I don't think they have zebra mussels in OZ ;-)
@@toddarmstrong.trackside.action I don’t think that there would be zebra muscles in a rock quarry because there is nowhere for it to come from and go to. A quarry is a big hole in the ground that gradually fills up with rain water. The height of that quarry is about 40 feet or more. A great place to jump into and swim. The y have a track built by the machine that originally carried the rock from the quarry. The one track down to the water’s edge is for those who don’t want to jump. 1) Molson sold out to Coors in the US a number of years ago.. Could have been an ad to target US audiences? 2) Yes, the "Beer Store" really is a store.. operates in Ontario and thats all they sell - all brands of beer.
The "Beer Store" is a real thing. In Ontario, alcohol is controlled by the government. You go to the "Beer Store" for most but not all your beer. You go to the LCBO for harder liquor and most wines. (LCBO = Liquor Control Board of Ontario)
Similar in Manitoba. Beer at the beer vendor, also, along with wine and hard liquor, at the Manitoba Liquor Mart. Both are controlled by the provincial government.
Well, while the government controls the legal side of alcohol, the Beer Store is actually a privately run operation controlled mostly by the major brewers--Molson, Labatt, and Sleeman--with a smaller percentage of the distributor owned by 30 or so Ontario brewers.

I explored country roads on horseback either following the river or just admiring the patchwork of colour in the fields next to those dirt roads. There are no "beer stores" in the Rockies. That's an Ontario thing only.
I know we had Beer Stores in BC, but that was Years ago...not sure about today...
@@brendamiller5785 NO. We in BC had beer and wine stores back in the 90s and before, (beer & wine but not hard liquor) which are all full, privately owned liquor stores now.
@@matkins3484 Actually now you see lots of "cold beer and wine stores" in Victoria.
"more square feet of awsomeness" it says. Not square feeet/person. So, sir, you misheard and are mistaken.
Winter Olympics !
Keep your stick on the ice.
Do ya'll know you got that one Sia tooth?
Other than you being wrong ... good video
anywhere you go in the world theres always some group of quebec people doing crazy stuff
If it's 2000miles to the beer store bring a semi with a van trailer and sell the extra
Aussies need to come to Canada. They think they have the most dangerous wildlife...phhhttt... Try living in Churchill, Manitoba where you never lock your car doors in case someone needs to get away from a polar bear. Maybe go for a swim in an Alberta mountain lake?
If the Olympics are in February it's the Winter Olympics. You cant hold a Summer Olympics in Vancouver in February. Our winter is your summer.
Can any Australians explain to an ignorant Canadian where "how ya going?" Came from? Is there something behind it? Or did it just morph like that overtime and no one really knows?
"How ya doing?" I can make sense of. "How are you doing? I'm doing good."
"How are you going?"
I wanna say 'by car' 😂
But then I remember I'm Canadian and I'm not supposed to be a prick 😂😂😂😂
That's the biggest misconception with Canadians IMO. Its not that we're really nice, its just that we stop ourselves from being mean. Unless someone says "war" 😂
DON'T MAKE SO MUCH OF THE
COLD WEATHER . WE ARE TOUGH. WE ARE CANADIAN.
