get a real machete with sheath actually made for yard work and bushcraft for around 3/5 the price of that sheath alone or get semipublicly humiliated by the palm that broke your over 100$ knife i´m not trying to troll you here chopping at even soft wood will hurt quite a lot with that thing and the same shock you feel in your hand will eventually break off the tip of the blade i got a machete at around the price of that sheath and after 6 years of going into the woods after heavy storms(usually 2-3 each summer) to harvest fat wood from freshly fallen trees(usually 1-3 each storm cause mono-culture is ass) and if i polish and resharpen it i could probably pass it off as "new"
Like the design, but the one you tested does not quite match the one they sell now, but the one you have would make a good pattern to have a real knife made vs a decoration
dude go ahead and question it who ever made this thing isn´t a professional knife designer either having made this thing with that finish for that selfproclaimed propose at that price proves my point it´s a "badass" display piece which you are supposed to stab into a half rotten tire or something screaming "mad max" on a bed of scrap metal in a glass case so you look more "hardcore"
