Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

I couldn't help but chuckle at your comment about the ability to charge so much more for the photocopying being on the doorstep of the immigration office. Many years ago, I worked for a company as a US visas coordinator helping people to get visas for things like Camp America/working in the US during uni summers. We had to be outside the embassy on 'J-days' helping our participants, and the amount of people who arrived either with the wrong size passport photos, or had electronics (phones being a big one). There was a pharmacy a stones throw away and they charged a small fortune to take US passport size photos, and locker usage for phones 🤣 But when you see a good business opportunity eh?! Really pleased you've been able to get the visa extended with relatively little stress and you'll get to spend more time exploring some of the islands. Looking forward to what's to come.

I'm glad to see that process is still quite simple. I extended mine a few tines up in Chiang Mai, originally at the Promenada Mall, and then near the airport when they moved.
Im always a bit stressed before visiting immigration offices, not knowing what it’s going to be like but we were pleasantly surprised with this one!
You can extend your visa on Samui. It has it's own Immigration office. There is also a small shop right next door that does all photo copies for you.
Love the video found it really helpful. One question, how many days did you have left on your 30 day visa before you extended to 60? Just wondered if this makes a difference. Thanks

Thanks for the info! My first stamp expires next week, is the extension + 30 days from my first stamp or +30 days from the time I get the extension? Trying to decide if I should wait until next week or just go ahead and get the extension today. Thank you!
Wait till the last day. You will get another 30 days. If you get it early then you lose any days left from your current visa.

What mode do you use mostly with the osmo pocket? Follow? I want to be about to turn it around as if walking through a market but I’m not sure how to do that without pressing the flip button ..

I've been in thailand for almost 42 days using the visa exemption, do you know how long I need to leave thailand before I can re enter and do the same thing? Also could I apply for a tourist visa in another country or do I need to do it back on UK?

I’m struggling how to get the first visa going to Thailand
How do you get from the airport to wherever you’re staying? With a large backpack/luggage I think the mopeds would be difficult to use especially if you have two people on them. What have you guys been doing when traveling to your accommodation with luggage?
Taxis or public transport! We usually just rent the mopeds after we’ve dropped our bags. But sometimes we do rent the mopeds straight away and do 2 journeys to get to the accommodation with all our bags 😅 that only works when the journey is short!

If you want to stay longer it is just to do a visa run.
Unfortunately visa runs are much more complicated at the moment with the entry restrictions!

Honestly anywhere I can find something that fits! 😅 it’s hit and miss but generally I like the surfer brands like O’Neill, Ripcurl, Roxy etc

Hi how much is gasoline in Thailand?
It’s normally around 170 baht (ish) to fill up a scooter tank from empty to full. But we only needed about 40 baht worth of gas for our time in Surat Thani
