Beyond frustrating, this is very discouraging. Additional the financial investment that one has to make by buying flights and such without any guarantees that you’ll get the visa on time.

Thank's for answering my last question about which order to organise things on my return to Thailand.... just one more question Skye....when my Thai Visa application has been passed....how do they issue the Visa ? in the shape of an email which i copy and print off to show immigration....or...is it another QR code i need to keep on my phone ? I had two questions: I am applying specifically for the STV Visa (90 day Visa) and I still have the option of Documents and payment in regard to accommodation (after 14 days in ASQ). What do you advise for me to upload as it looks like it is mandatory to upload some type of proof. I plan on staying with my grandma as she owns a condo in Thailand when I arrive. The other question is for the Accommodation - Evidence of long-stay accommodation. What can I upload for this portion as I will be staying with my grandma. Do you advise her to write a note and take a picture of her accommodating me to stay at her place as well as a document of proof she owns the property?

Do we only have to apply for a visa if we're over 18? Surely/hopefully we don't have to apply for kids too??
We have a 32 day stay because the company who booked the flights said we can stay for 45 days...but it's been changed back to 30 days since the booking was made.
I fly into Bangkok on 3 September and leave 31 October on same ticket. I assume that the letter isn’t needed as quarantine is no longer required (at least for vaccinated passengers). My wife is Thai and while we live in the U.S. for another 4 years, we kept our house in Chiangmai. I’ll be staying there for my entirety of my stay in Thailand. So, I’ll put that address down and assume that a letter from the owner of the house isn’t required. I’ll get the files ready but won’t apply until June 10. I’ll assume that the vaccination card and the 10:000 baht insurance have nothing to do with the visa but everything to do with the Thai Pass, which I’ll submit around 15 August to see if the insurance is still required and whether the Thai Pass has been discontinued. Hi Skye...i have another question....what shape or form does the Thai Visa come in ? Is the Thai Visa given to you in the shape of an email or QR Code...as its no longer a physical stamp in your passport from the Embassey....so how are you given the Thai Visa....and....how do you show your Thai Visa to the Thai Immigration ? This is part 2 question...part 1 question in my previous message is about what is the 1st step of coming to Thailand ( booking a flight 1st step ? next step...next step )....hope you can clear up these questions in another short video with more precise information as to what shape the Thai Visa arrives back to you...and....the 1st step of coming to Thailand ( what should you book 1st )...thank you so much...best regards...Richard.

However my question is regarding the return flight - as I understand you can apply for a 30 day extension to the 60 day tourist visa which I would want to do. Is it ok then to show your flight reservation details as returning after 90 days instead of 60 days? TIA for any response.
Hey Sean, yes thankfully 🤣 unfortunately not which is quite ridiculous really…you’d have to show proof within 60 days and when you go to extend they don’t usually ask
Hi Skye, I've been referring back to this video like 10 times it's super helpful. Im just currently doing my VISA. Weird question however, how many photos of the back pages do you need to provide? Is it just the last 2 back pages where the stamps go (blank) or do they need to see all the pages previous?

1. Since the quarantine hotel rules have changed, what do you upload in place of ‘Proof of fully-paid Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) or Alternative Hospital Quarantine (AHQ) not less than 14 days ‘?
2. Can I apply for my wife’s visa on my account or does she need to sign up as well?
3. Can I apply for Childrens Visas on my account (Ages 5 & 7)?

Tourist Visa - proof of residence?
My husband and I plan a 60-90 day stay in Thailand from Nov 20th and I am looking at the E-Visa application forms. Just a question about what is required for proof of residence? We have several bank statements with our address and I have a UK driving licence but we have no utility bills or anything else with our address on. Will two different bank statements be acceptable (one for proof of funds and one for proof of residence)?

I just reserved a booking in Thailand for 10/21/24 . When I arrive in Thailand my passport would be only 4 months until expires. I read Thailand requirement has a lesser requirement. However I read other sites it 6 months. I will renew this coming Monday however what do you know of Thailand policy. I have an American passport.

1. l can't find out how to apply as family as portal shows individual applications. My wife is housewife and dependent on me financially so can't submit her bank statements. Kindly suggest how to proof her dependency on me or apply as one application for both of us.

Quick question: the depart date from thailand for the forward-on ticket should be 30 or 60 days after arrival? Im trying to decide which ticket i should be buying.

This is a very good video.Very clear. However, I have tried to upload an image of my passport and it does not read it. My photo it says skin tone is not natural. I have tried it many times and I can't get the right image for the system. I have given up. I think people should complain about the EThe visa system as it is rediculous. This is enough to put people off from using this system.

Of course, now quarantine is not needed even for unvaccinated as long as they do the PCR test 72 hours before coming but a hotel reservation would still be needed I guess and for how many days do you think?
You can enter Thailand within 3 months after visa is issued.
It has to be at the most 3 months and at least 15 days before date of entry

Hi, you can get the 30 days on arrival but you can’t use the visa when in the country, you’d have to leave, apply for the visa and renter. Though it should come if you’ve got 2 weeks, usually takes 5 days ish

oh my. I only want the 60 day but I will not have bought a plane ticket yet, will not have a confirmed hotel yet as I only pay after I see the room. Financial things etc.. just too much trouble. Hello. So I am planning on going to Thailand as I have a job there to work and live there. Why would i need a departure ticket out? I just don't get why they want to have that info if it's not in my pans. I cannot progress any further with their form so i'm just guessing I book a departure flight date too, even though I won't be leaving??
It’s one of the many annoying rules…doesn’t make sense I know 🤷🏼♀️ book a cheap ticket to Cambodia/Vietnam just to show you have one.
What is the process when you arrive in BKK with your eVisa letter? Do you just to to passport control with your passport and the eVisa letter print out? Reading the Thailand Q&A as well as eVisa letter it says two different things. One says when you arrive go to your airline's desk and pick up visa and the other says go to passport control. Which is the current process? Any help appreciated hope this is not a duplicate question and process may have changed and so the conflicting information on the Thai visa pages

Can someone help me as I am very confused. The visa is requiring me to submit proof of my 14 day ASQ (Alternative State Quarantine) on the document page. However, I have already obtained my Thailand Pass which states that I am fully vaccinated and so I do not need to quarantine upon arrival. I am not sure how to circumvent this requirement or who to contact to help. Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you!
Just upload a different document in that section or write on a piece of paper “does not apply to me” and sign it 😀

But one thing you said that I didn't hear or see anywhere else was that "you will need a letter from company or school when applying for the 'Tourist visa Multiple Entry'. I'm applying for Multi entry & was planning on just putting in "this is not applicable". Would this work?

A different question for you. If my visa application doesn’t get approved in time can I travel into Thailand on the visa exemption and then when I get approved for the visa - what would I do then? I imagine they would need to stamp me in on the new visa? How would this work ?
Yeah the visa won’t be valid once you’re in the country unfortunately. You’d have to get the visa before you arrive for it to work. You could go visa exempt for 45 days and then fly to Cambodia for example and whilst there you can get a tourist visa and then re-enter Thailand on that 😀
