Thanks for all the info Skye really helpful. One question though, when returning to Uk or leaving Thailand for another country do you need to book a COVID test prior to the flight out?

I just did my 60 day covid extension in Phuket. The hardest part was the form TM30 which is supposed to be filled out by the hotel or done online by the hotel. My hotel knew nothing about this. Be prepared for several trips to immigration to get it all sorted out. Fortunately my Thai friend helped me with the process.

The information about the Visa extension also concerns me. Hopefully I can extend a second time in March. Because then I don't have to do a border-run (or Visa-run) with the associated Test&Go hassle.

I land march 15th, I want to stay until late June. I paid £150 for a 6 month visa but it says its only 60days stay on my form which can be extended.
Will I only be able to extend for another 30 days or can I get another 60 each time?
Thai embassy not very clear to me on their emails so far.
I didn't get any TM6 form when I was on the plane to Thailand. Is the form giving to everyone?

Hi! You can, but as it stands the extensions finish 25 March, could be extended further but it’s a risk! X

I'm curious whether the visa "starts" the day it gets granted or whether when I get approved for 60 days and I take that paperwork with me whether the period of my stay then starts upon my arrival in Thailand. Do you have any insight on this?
Not sure if it's too late. The visa starts when you arrive in Thailand. I think when first applied you have within a year or six months to use it, just trying to remember off the top of my head. You should double check. I am currently in Thailand and I did the eVisa for 60 days. I arrived in the beginning of March and my passport was stamped until April 30th. Now I am in the process of getting an extension.
What if you dont have the the tm6?
When applying for your extension visa do you have to have proof of your flight for leaving Thailand ...Great vids

Hello Skye. When you entered Thailand and you got your passport stamped, did they change the extension date for you on the stamp? I’m trying to extend my visa but not exactly sure what date to do so and kinda scared if I don’t go in time I’ll be fined.

Thanks for subscribing! You can do the covid visa extension until 25 March - and then it could even be extended further than this date 🤷🏼♀️

Hi Skye.. I just want to know how many times are we allowed to extend our visa in Thailand?? I have already extended once for 30 days. I came on a visa exempt (UK passport). I am hoping I can extend again for another 30 days (90 days total) without needing to leave the country and coming back.

Hey! Thank you. I got visa exemption (30 days on arrival) and extended in Thailand. At the moment the covid extensions are said to be stopped after 25/03 but could be extended who knows it’s Thailand haha. Best idea is to get a tourist visa which will give you 60 days 😀

When you get a visa on arrival do you have to do anything at suvarnabhumi, or do they just stamp your passport for 30 days and then you go immigration office on 30th day to extend????
@@wbev_thai1666 yes the second part of what you said is true 😀 although I wouldn’t go on the 30th day just incase, go a few days before.
@@wbev_thai1666 Hey! I'm here now. The process is automatic 'visa exemption' when you go through immigration at the airport. I extended my visa 30 days in Chiang Mai but had to wait 5 hours. Would recommend extending in Pai or on the islands. You can still get 60 day covid extension for the same price.

Hi! I think they will give you another one. Though I’m not 100% sure, I would recommend going to immigration well in advance and asking them. Hope you sort it 😀

@@SkyeSamuels hi I got a visa on arrival 30 days 21st September then I'm going to extend for a further 30 days that will give me 60 days but my problem is I intend to stay untill 15th December by which time my 60 days will have ran out by a good 3 weeks if you have any advice for me I would really appreciate it cheers
Hi Terry, you could enquire for another extension but I don’t think it’s possible so you’ll have to do a border run and renter again unfortunately 🙈
What about the TM30?
I commented on one of your previous videos last week. I tested positive for covid and have been quarantined since then. I Get released today!! I got sick, but it wasn't too bad. Still a little short of breath. I am heading to Koh samui today! There I will be meeting my Thai Girlfriend in person for the first time! I also have a TH-cam Food Vlog and Cooking channel. When you get your 60-day extension, do these additional 60 days count from the expire date of your prior visa or do these additional days count from the day that they actually get your additional 60-day extension from immigration?

Great info skye I have a 60 day tourist visa my question is i entered on 12 Jan and leave 22 February so if I want to extend my time do I have to do this a couple of days before I leave or do I wait for my sixty days to finish or day before and do I do a tourist or the covid one hope you understand this and tia

Hi! We extended ours 1 week before it ended and then again 1 day before so I would recommend somewhere between the two 😂 hope that’s helps!
