This is the closest sound anyone has ever gotten to the real song when covering the song. I always feel like nearly everyone gets the tone wrong for the main riff. They never really aim for that fuzzy sound that Tom has on this song. You've definitely got that fuzz sound going on in the main riff. I'd be interested to hear you cover Wishing Well by blink as that's another song that people often get wrong when it comes to the guitar tones. Great cover though🔥
Thanks for the kind words. Yeah I always go for the tone that’s closest to the record (with always keeping in mind that my guitar needs to be heard in the mix) so I always go for the same gear. This is a Vox AC30 amp and cab sim from ML Sound Lab and it really gets the job done nice
I tap tempoed it to the tracks bpm then just used ping pong dotted 8th notes, I think. I really can’t remember exactly. But yeah it was just a Vox amp sim from ML Sound Lab turned up to get Tom’s Neighborhoods sound.
This is the most accurate to how it was actually played (live at least) out of all the videos I found. 👍
Thanks so much, I always try to get as close as possible to the song and combine as much parts into one guitar part. 🤘🏻
@@guitarpunkcovers Always love to see it.
Flawless as usual. Honestly, I dont know why youre not a big youtube star. Your covers are perfect.
Those are very kind words my friend! Thank you so much for the support, it really means a lot! 🙌🏻
Absolutely love this song, great cover. You made it look so easy.

Glad you like it! Thanks so much! 🙌🏻
Your videos are awesome! Really liked this one. I'm wondering if you could play some Face to Face too, this band deserves nice covers
Thanks so much! I agree, Face to Face was one of the first punk bands I’ve heard when I started to get into punk rock. I’ll definitely do some!
Yes!!
Just discovered your channel, you're playing is insane. Quick question: Which audio interface do you use?
Hey Andreas, thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. I just use a Scarlett 2i2 2nd gen.
Please make tutorial 🙏
did you use any effects like overdrive or just a clean vox amp?
I think this is just distortion from the amp, no pedals.
Cool cover!!!
Thanks!
how much ms did you use on the delay? Could you tell me how much delay you used? Did you just use delay and distortion?
