The fact that you mentioned in the beginning of the video that the differences from grain are at the end and to skip forward if you already saw the grain video shows an enormous amount of respect and professionalism to your viewers. You could easily run the algorithm and just neglect sharing that information so anyone watching would watch the whole video through but you respect the time of your viewers which is very much appreciated.

When you are not harvesting the corn with a combine, but instead are making silage with a forage harvester with it...you can harvest it in the last grow stage already. In FS19 the yield was the same in the latest grow stage as it would be in "ready to harvest". Can you tell if it is the same in FS22 or if there is a lower yield when harvested in the last grow stage?

Just tested this on field 66 and field 67 on Elms Creek. Both fields had 2x fertilization and thats about it, none of them needed plowing or lime, did not mulch or roll. Did not use silage additive either.
Field 66 was harvested after 4 out of 6 days, it yielded 30963 litres of chaff.
Field 67 was harvested after 6 out of 6 days, it yielded 31082 litres of chaff.
In other words, you might as well harvest after 4. Im assuming the fields arent completely identical, with very very minor differences in field size. I cba doing a reverse test.
@@12ad49 ah thanks for testing, I thought the 5th day should be the same but if even the 4th is the same, that actually makes a big difference moneywise. (at least with seasons off if you can plant again whenever you want)
How do you know if a header is compatible if it does not show in the combination page?
Essentially, all headers are interchangeable to all harvesters but you may have issues running a large header on a small harvester because of the horsepower

It is a but weird that they use the same head for sunflowers and corn. But they have that option probably becouse in real life it's very diffrent. It's also why you don't see multi striped fields like that. Becouse growing conditions and what you'd put on the crops are diffrent for each crop. Like I wouldn't, for instance grow what and corn in the same field. But growing back to the heads irl I imagine that if I hit sunflowers with a corn head it would throw seeds everywhere. The seeds are the most valuable part, plus it's not made to handle seeds. I would imagine it would damage the head itself. Plus diffrent crops have diffrent sized fields. If you were to really grow corn or sunflowers in a filed that small, you would come out in the red each harvest. But the fields are pretty small in the game. I've known guys who have planted small fields of corn to make it into a maze. It was probably added just to make farmers happy.
Believe it or not, the same headers are used IRL for corn and sunflowers

Bit late.. but are "seeds" corn? I'm trying to figure that out rn
Seeds are just seeds. Seeds in game will plant any crop, its done that way just to help simplify it
How to you get stage 2 fertilizer?

No, but it is an option to increase yield by 2.5%

most irritating part of this game is figuring out WTF machinery goes with what. Ex. like finding the correct header with the correct attachments etc. Irritating as piss
