For saves, you can intentionally walk in the bottom or top of the 3rd until the on deck batter represents the tying run. If you are up 6 runs that means walking 4 batters which makes it 6-1 with bases loaded and then go for the win. It’s tedious but for 5k xp towards TA every 2 saves, it’s worth it in the end
TA mini seasons is a great way to get TA done plus farm a ton of packs. Every 40 hits and 25 innings pitched with TA cards gives you 20 packs total and you get a voucher for every 4 wins. After you get the free packs you can reset the mini season and do it again. I've gotten a ton of free packs and I'm almost done with TA
I’ve been resetting after the 40 hits, you technically get more packs as you reset the 60 total bases, 30 strikeouts, and 20 on base (if this is there, I can’t remember) missions. Takes roughly 3-5 games to get the hits if you’re optimizing and the voucher mission doesn’t reset when you reset a mini season
@@jguffdizzle ya but I've been doing the saves too for 5k points in TA so I was bunting out of games after I had a 3 run lead. Without doing that I would also reset after 40 hits because you're right it took about 3 or 4 games. Also do it on all star for the 15 homeruns and the 3 balling packs
@@jguffdizzle You don't have to intentional walk untiil 3 runs down. 5 runs down is enough to get the save. The tying run needs to be on the on deck circle to count as a save.
@@LaRussa01so you can be up 5, have the bases loaded, one at bat, swap in a save pitcher, strikeout, and that counts as a save even if the # of offensive players on the field is 4? The deck counts as 1 as you said?
Idk wtf is going on at sds but this is one of the dumbest things they’ve ever done. I’m not one to bitch and complain but this shit is bad. By the time I unlock these cards and get to the collection pack at 280 the next season will start. Hopefully they drop some new way to progress.
Ya the cards are cool and all and are orettt easy to unlock but still just knowing I won’t be able to even use em in a few weeks is irritating I wish they would go back to the old way where if you earned the card you could use it all year instead of this season bs plus the bosses might as well be impossible 1 mil xp and you can’t even use em after the season
They need to give us enough cards to get the collections done. This time any other years. I’d have the collection done. This year I don’t think I’ll get even one of the main cards
I hope so. I have all the team affinities done last ranked season done all the mini seasons and conquest maps. I just got to Al litier. With only three weeks to go. I don’t really see them adding another 80 cards to season one. I have all but the big three teams off live series done too. But I’m fine with that taking longer seeings how those are core cards.
The run was fun but once this season is done, I am going to stop dedicating time in sports games. Sad it has come to this. Madden pushed me away, their MUT system, is stale, same cards every year. Found 2k, then 2k showed their true hand in 2k21 when they tried to make us into RPG basketball guys. This game, has been fun, the the NMS Grind is insane, and my kid and I grind. But this is done. The time here is far too much, as if we have all day to grind. Sports games have lost their mind.
Its funny/sad because my kid and I usually play but this year, she doesn't even care. Even she knows it's just the same grind made worse than previous years.

Best way I’ve found offline wise is playing mini seasons, running up the score and then walking in runs until you get a 3 run lead so you can record a save. Still very tedious but you’re getting the save mission done, plus the vouchers for every 4 wins and then pxp and other stuff on top of that
Just play cpu on easy you get 10k for 50 total bases now on top of the stick outs the hits and the parallel xp lately I’ve been getting 25000 xp plus per cpu game super easy or you just stack your team every position with that division plus you can play online and get 10k xp per 8 innings pitched and 9k for 10 strikeouts so it’s pretty easy also conquest map gives vouchers and they give xp for hits and saves it’s not much but I’ve done some conquest to help me get some xp
When you said saves are doable. You can still rack up your hits and then just walk guys on until the cpu is down 5 runs and then you can earn a save for each game you’re playing which in turn gives you in additional 5000 points. I spammed this method and I’m almost complete done with TA

I was grinding TA Mini Seasons and i got to the end of the 24 games and headed to the playoffs before i got stuck on the glitch that was in last year where you can not advance to the playoffs. Anyone have any fixes for that? Mini Seasons was the way to go to knock out this TA.
Brother easily the most efficient thing to do is score 3 runs and then bunt until you get a save..... 5k every two games = max of 20 games, WITHOUT the other challenges. You will EASILY finish every division within 15!!!! mini season games MAX. play on veteran, score 3, get a save.
I have a pretty hard no grinding past first month rule for games now. Tutorials? Fine as long as they are short and to the point. Early game missions that are critical to unlocking a higher tier of the game? Yup I can do that at a realistic time frame. Once I have the acceptable basic understanding of the game or the PVP mode I paid to play I will never do a grind or slog my time away that I don't have much of. This is coming from a competitive WoW, Overwatch, and Magic the Gathering player. When I was much younger with no responsibilities this kind of grind is doable. Not FUN, doable.

It's hard for me to want to knock ta 3 knowing they are rental cards till when they will be usable

They changed the PXP and missions because there's a lot more cards you can use towards the program compared to pt 1 and 2.
