You basically have to play multiplayer. Play the games as fast as possible and try to get out on offense as fast as possible while spamming the 8 innings pitches in multiplayer for 9,000 XP. And this is coming from someone that never plays multiplayer
Completely ruined the single player missions. WHY WHY WHY must offline players continuously be punished? For cards that are usable for four damn weeks! They couldn’t just leave it as it was? I don’t even know why they went away from the content model in 21. There was a power creep, but you also didn’t have cards expire. The sets model has to go next year
21s content model was garbage lmao, free endgame cards released not even 3 months into the game cycle along with the TA rewards being imbalanced as fuck. MLB 22 was the one that had the better content structure but the older players got tired of the 90-99 power creep that has been used in every game from MLB 18 to then. Which is why we have sets & seasons now
The reason they made the grind way harder is so that they can keep barely releasing any programs and keep shoving packs down our throats since this grind will take longer. The first two TA could be done in like 2-3 days but this will make it take a week or two.
You again get double and triple dipping using former division bosses in any mode. You will be able to finish this in a day or two also. People were saying the same thing during Chapter 2 and it was actually faster than chapter one. One is still going to be the slowest. With ten bosses per division for the last two chapters you can roll over the stats and PxP every other game easily. This is just more whining to whine.

Hit the nail on the head. You could save a ton of time by just waiting until Season 4 is over and grinding every TA all at once. All the stubs you get would allow you to buy finest cards and you would have every 99 and the gameplay will still be exactly the same because they aren't changing anything else besides monetization of this game. Idk why I even bothered downloading it off game pass this year. I was expecting it to be somewhat like 21, but I should've done my research to find out how anti-consumer they've become. It's almost worse than EA at this point. At least EA let's you play how you want when they F you.
I miss the old inning programs and the 92 OVR first lighting card then the 95 ovr May lighting card and a 97 Ranked reward in June. You were actually building a team and getting better. Then the occasional collection was thrown in to get an even better card and it rewarded playing the game in a smart way. This just sucks. I’ll still play because I like the game and I like playing but the setup of it the last couple years really sucks

Not to mention there is almost zero chance for someone who works a normal job or goes to school to collect enough cards to get one of the S1 collection packs without spending money on these stupid digital assets that have been recycled for almost a decade now. SDS has suffocated the enjoyment out of this year’s game. Think I may be done now

You don't have to, play Conquest you still double dip if you have bosses from chapter one and chapter two in your lineup Those are repeatable and you have 2-3 going at once.
Quick tip to knock 2 out at once. Make all the batters ALE Bosses from 1 & 2 seeing how they have no pitcher (til you get Henke Boss in 3). Now make all the pitchers Bosses from the other Divisions. Use ALC pitchers. Start with Verlander or Grienke, if you need to replace one of them bring in the other. Get as many K's as you can. Next game use one of them again and get the remaining K's needed for 30 K's. Take them out and use a pitcher Boss from another Division to get K's. Repeat. Put Chspter 3 Bosses in where they go as you unlock them for their easy 10k xp mission to help.
Bunting is much harder on hall of fame, even with the perk. The key is pick exit velo, vision perks and contact swing. Ive beat every extreme showdown that way. If your timing is right you can still hit bombs with contact swing if you have the exit velo perks
Fastest way I've found, pick a division, put in 3 relief pitchers from that division, get 2 saves in mini seasons which gets you to 5000 TAXP, I usually go to 4 wins cause you get a voucher every 4 wins
Take the bunt advice with a grain of salt. I had the diamon perk. 4 out of my 5 bunts were all fouled even on pitches right down the plate. Fucked me after spending half an hour trying to complete this shit. My next round the bunts were alittle better. It’s a toss up. I also bunted into a double play though. Exit velos are gonna suck unless you hit near PP. exact double play everytime someone was on first towards the end

of course they changed the missions. TA 2 i could get 37500 exp minimum for 2 vs cpu games now the best i can do regardless of mode is 19500 per 2 games. so they doubled the amount of games per division and made it so unlocking the bosses does almost nothing because their missions are non repeatable. they just cant do anything right every positive comes with multiple negatives. im not playing extreme bullshit where success isnt guaranteed and wastes my time if i fail. not everyone can play on HOF and legend and succeed consistently. stop acting like everyone plays this for a living like you and downplaying this bullshit because you personally dont mind. this game fucking sucks

Got 60,000 ta points for about 25k stubs in the Al east if you buy 4 Miguel andujar 91s for about 20k and then bought 93 Jorge Lopez for about 10k and put them into exchanges and then played 2 mini seasons game on rookie and did the missions. Took about an hour

The problem is the "get a save in mini conquest" completely conflicts with the "get as many hits as u can". More hits = more runs = no save situation.. what are you gonna do walk in runs to Lower the gap? That just wastes more time…

Ive been doing the saves objectives and using all TA players from whichever division i want to work on. The exchange sets could certainly be worth it cause alot of cards are cheap but i would rather save the stubs and just grind it out. I already completed the Ruth set so i dont really need to keep any or many of my live series cards and im certainly not spending stubs on any players since season 2 is near. I dont have a problem with how SDS is doing things. Ill probably be happy once the S2 reset happens and may try to level up some of my core cards to get ready for S2. It would be cool if they let us trade in some TA chapter 2 exchange tickets for TAC3 ones but overall im happy with DD and how easy it is to go nms.
I enjoy playing solo/single player modes, I don't like multiplayer modes and I think the folks in control want you to either pay to complete content, or grind and grind and grind to barley move the needle on content, or play online modes. I refuse to do any of this BS. Great job "The Show" on alienating your player base.
I completed all but the Bagwell moment. It's going to be my Everest because I don't swing well with Bagwell. Gotten 7 as my best so far. I do it for the challenge and the fun of it more than for the progress.
With how this is set up they really needed to make TA 3 chapters released all at once. Once you finish chapter 1 then chapter 2 unlocks and so on. I know that ruins the power creep in some aspect, but I’m sure they could’ve figured it out so it couldn’t be grinded in like 2 weeks somehow. Maybe make it team based like it used to be. This whole game has been a disaster and utter disappointment from what we used to play
They took the last program we will get in this season and made it the worst one yet when it comes to getting things done. Also we can lose all these cards by the time we finish because of their dumb a** seasons method.
Why skip the pitching moments but do the hitting? Hitting is way harder than pitching. I struggle with the ones that are only “hit 1 Hr”. But the pitching ones I always get first try
SDS continues its all out assault on offline players. Classic mode mini seasons still hasn’t reset. Offline grinding has reached a new level of miserable. Offline players are now forced to play mode specific missions. XP reduction for single player missions. A bunch of free 99s that offline players will barely get to use because S1 will be over by the time they manage to finish the TA grind.
Anybody having any luck with the Vault packs from the TA & Conquest Map? Ive opened 4 of them and keep getting the same 3 cards that they dont show are in the pack (Webb from SF).
Nope. They put 99’s out at the end of each season so you only have a few weeks to play with them. You get 1 (more after a while up to 4) “wildcard” slots where you can use cards from any season but largely, your team resets every season. Kinda shitty.
I want to play this game so bad. I tried I played hundreds of games. And I just can not hit. And I deff can’t hit online against wild pitchers. I think I just need to give it up, if anything I can play the cpu on all star but that’s about it. It sucks people just catch on that I can’t hit the high fast. High inside. Can’t see the ball in the dirt. Just screws me all up
Yeah once ea college football is out the only modes of use in this game to me is franchise and rtts and that might even be at best played once a week its high past time this game gets refreshed the graphics need a complete overhaul franchise needs to bring back missing features the scouting could get better its improved but still more needs to be done post game recaps need to be back hopefully they put more effort in next years game but thats about like saying i hope madden is better this year (most likely not gonna happen) they have gotten just about as lazy as the madden devs and its sad because a decade ago this was one of if not the best sports games on the market but the combination of greed laziness and incompetence derailed this game

Honestly these videos don’t even have to exist anymore, they made it easy this year. Just play online. I’ve never grinded a single TA and have all of them but 2 done. All I do is play a few events games a day and that’s it.

The exchange sets could certainly be worth it cause alot of cards are cheap but i would rather save the stubs and just grind it out. I already completed the Ruth set so i dont really need to keep any or many of my live series cards and im certainly not spending stubs on any players since season 2 is near. I dont have a problem with how SDS is doing things. Ill probably be happy once the S2 reset happens and may try to level up some of my core cards to get ready for S2. It would be cool if they let us trade in some TA chapter 2 exchange tickets for TAC3 ones but overall im happy with DD and how easy it is to go nms.
I enjoy playing solo/single player modes, I don't like multiplayer modes and I think the folks in control want you to either pay to complete content, or grind and grind and grind to barley move the needle on content, or play online modes. I refuse to do any of this BS. Great job "The Show" on alienating your player base.

I completed all but the Bagwell moment. It's going to be my Everest because I don't swing well with Bagwell. Gotten 7 as my best so far. I do it for the challenge and the fun of it more than for the progress.
With how this is set up they really needed to make TA 3 chapters released all at once. Once you finish chapter 1 then chapter 2 unlocks and so on. I know that ruins the power creep in some aspect, but I’m sure they could’ve figured it out so it couldn’t be grinded in like 2 weeks somehow. Maybe make it team based like it used to be. This whole game has been a disaster and utter disappointment from what we used to play

They took the last program we will get in this season and made it the worst one yet when it comes to getting things done. Also we can lose all these cards by the time we finish because of their dumb a** seasons method.

Why skip the pitching moments but do the hitting? Hitting is way harder than pitching. I struggle with the ones that are only “hit 1 Hr”. But the pitching ones I always get first try
SDS continues its all out assault on offline players. Classic mode mini seasons still hasn’t reset. Offline grinding has reached a new level of miserable. Offline players are now forced to play mode specific missions. XP reduction for single player missions. A bunch of free 99s that offline players will barely get to use because S1 will be over by the time they manage to finish the TA grind.
i think im done with diamond dynasty for the year, at least RTTS is fun & fallout 3 is keeping me occupied until NCAA

Yes, although you can use one season 1 card as a wild card and unlock 3 more wild card slots through the XP reward path

Nope. They put 99’s out at the end of each season so you only have a few weeks to play with them. You get 1 (more after a while up to 4) “wildcard” slots where you can use cards from any season but largely, your team resets every season. Kinda shitty.
I want to play this game so bad. I tried I played hundreds of games. And I just can not hit. And I deff can’t hit online against wild pitchers. I think I just need to give it up, if anything I can play the cpu on all star but that’s about it. It sucks people just catch on that I can’t hit the high fast. High inside. Can’t see the ball in the dirt. Just screws me all up
Just play more conquest and keep gettin better. Maybe use cards with better vision too if you are swinging at everything

Yeah once ea college football is out the only modes of use in this game to me is franchise and rtts and that might even be at best played once a week its high past time this game gets refreshed the graphics need a complete overhaul franchise needs to bring back missing features the scouting could get better its improved but still more needs to be done post game recaps need to be back hopefully they put more effort in next years game but thats about like saying i hope madden is better this year (most likely not gonna happen) they have gotten just about as lazy as the madden devs and its sad because a decade ago this was one of if not the best sports games on the market but the combination of greed laziness and incompetence derailed this game

Honestly these videos don’t even have to exist anymore, they made it easy this year. Just play online. I’ve never grinded a single TA and have all of them but 2 done. All I do is play a few events games a day and that’s it.
The should have put Core,S1 and S2 them after season 2 delete S1 so we can play these cards

You game content creators got to stop with the "Its not that hard to complete" when talking about Extreme. IT IS FUCKING HARD for a casual luke myself who doesn't have 10 hrs a day to play the game. SDS dropped the ball this year no doubt. Specially for people who play offline like me to complete TA's. I think im not gonna try to finisht the TA at all. Shit im not even halft thru thr program itself ( level 35 i believe) even wirh the Double XP. Cant wait for Collegue Football 2025!
