So turns out that the Chinese save is even harder than Jack thought. I started a save as Shenzhen in China. In my first week three players had offers for 0 (which is their value) and became unsettled when I rejected them. Now I also have had all my core players come complaining about a lack of squad depth and demanding additions, There was no option to point out to the players that the club is not allowed to sign players, Similarly there was a pre-transfer window strategy meeting where coaches recommended signings that obviously can't be made, I'm still in pre-season and I'm not sure how I'm going to make it to the start of the season without either absolutely tanking all the dynamics and/or not having even 11 non-grey players at the club.
Try Real Murcia, 7th biggest city and no teams in a professional league. The club with most Segunda division titles and a 31k stadium capacity, they were bankrupt and they were save by the fans and many other fans. they are in the 3rd tier. Realy fun save and a challenging one. By the way they appeard in the Beckham´s documentary when Real murcia beat Madrid 2-1 and a murcia fan shout at him and said he was trash
Bursaspor deserves a shout too. One of the only 2 teams outside of Istambul to win the Turkish Super League(2010) but now they are in their 3rd season in the 3rd division, they have a transfer embargo and are fighting relegation in real life, which is expected considering that their squad is mainly filled with local youngsters.
I had a save with Bursa on FM 23 and yes its very hard... I got lucky that i got 2 good players from my youth intake. On the other side my 2 or 3 key players left my in the end of the season bc we got no money. In the first seasons i had to play a team full of u19 players.
Didn't think a HK team would actually feature in a FM video but it's still a great inclusion The existence of it shows a part of the problem in HK football This team wasnt playable in FM23 I believe and it also relies on loaning players from big clubs
I've actually played a Manaus save game in the last 3 FMs. Very difficult save in the begining, can't get money or anyone of actual talent. Also can't get friendlys with anyone that will give you money because you are too far from everyone. This year Manaus sounds like it's going to be insane.
I think for me the lower budget is something that is easy for me to work with since the A-League basically has a salary cap of 34k on for the registration in the first team and generally the best way to win is to focus on youth, in China I bet it would be similar, in Hong Kong with the Hong Kong U23's if you can make money with big signings and upgrade your youth facilities over time, then you can basically treat your team like an Under 19 team with the aim being to bring up players as soon as you get the youth intake and those who break the glass ceiling get kept on once they hit 19 and if they keep getting really good in terms of ability then you keep them when they get above 23. But then for them I think getting up to that point is the hardest step. You basically need to make the money to upgrade your youth facilities and the strangest thing I would suggest is selling your foreign players even if they are the best in your squad because what you want is your best player to be from Hong Kong rather than a foreign nation.
I wonder if you used the editor to move that HK team to England if you would only be able to have English players and still have the under 23 rule. That would be an interesting save, see how far up the pyramid you could clime
Some teams in Belarus played fixed matches and were harshly fined by points. For example, Shakhter Soligorsk, 2022 champion, got -35 points this season AND -25 points next season
Southend is quite nice save. Managed to get promotion in first season by just making playoffs, now in League One in 3rd season. Still no money and had an internal change of ownership, also Roots Hall always gets waterlogged enjoy the fixture congestion.
I've done a few save in FM23 where I started in Hong Kong. I didn't know the U23 never won a game, especially since they were dominating in my saves. Isn't it the team that gets a stupidly amount of loans to reflect on real life military service?
quite tempted by Manaus after I'm happy with where my your world chelsea gets to. Never managed in South America before and want to do something long-term
Jack southend united my home town club, if it was not for the -10 points we would be in the play offs, we have a good core of players who work hard for the badge and we are in the process of being taken over. Love the videos by the way, anymore f1?
I really want to do a Hong Kong u23 save but I don't know what I want to achieve by the end of the save and of it will even be fun can someone please tell me if they tried the save and what they thought
@@WorkTheSpace thanks for the reply! 😊😊 I am in fact a bad manager then... couldn't even turn to positive points. I messed up the squad though....back to basics then. I need to check my approach to that squad then.
@@WorkTheSpace Btw Jack do still remember Robbie Ure from Park to Prem, Well he now plays for Anderlecht U21 in the Belgian second league. He played against my team and scored maybe you can do a rebuild with my team .We are currently in big financial problems and got relegated and are now second to last with a hole new sqaud

I’m so sorry but this sounds hilarious 😅 let us know how you get on!
You could ban the first transfer window when the game starts

Started my first job at Lee Man in FM23 had a great run it was pretty fun

The Hong Kong U23's has piqued my interest as a challenging save. Thanks for the idea's. One to try after my Peterhead save.
Have u tried the save
You absolutely have to do a Hong Kong u23 save. I don’t think I could endure the suffering but I’d love to watch you go through with it haha

The top two sound really cool, I’ll be giving them a try. Will you be trying one of these personally, Jack?
I've started a save at FK Austria Wien after seeing this video, i'm really excited to make this work 😃
I wonder if you used the editor to move that HK team to England if you would only be able to have English players and still have the under 23 rule. That would be an interesting save, see how far up the pyramid you could clime
Would love to see you try the Hong Kong U23 challenge
Well, that settled it. Hong Kong U23 as the starting point this time around, for my first tour of Asia ever :D
Some teams in Belarus played fixed matches and were harshly fined by points.
For example, Shakhter Soligorsk, 2022 champion, got -35 points this season AND -25 points next season
Thing is Shakhter Soligorsk still have one of the strongest teams in the league, there isn't much of a challenge there bsides the points deducation.
Well....I might be a bit discordant.
Southend is quite nice save. Managed to get promotion in first season by just making playoffs, now in League One in 3rd season. Still no money and had an internal change of ownership, also Roots Hall always gets waterlogged enjoy the fixture congestion.
was planning on doing Hong Kong U23s as my main save this year as a youth only save so good to see its here as the hardest challenge normally
Have u started the save and is it fun
Paysandu mentioned in a Work the Space video, amazing
Look forward to this video every year, thanks! Will you do an impossible save this year as well?
Truro City in England and Rabo de Peixe in Portugal. Good saves
I've done a few save in FM23 where I started in Hong Kong. I didn't know the U23 never won a game, especially since they were dominating in my saves. Isn't it the team that gets a stupidly amount of loans to reflect on real life military service?
They work differently in FM24, last year you couldn't even manage them
@@WorkTheSpace Well, I know which team to manage this year.
Look forward to you playing the Austrian club save!
Yeah FK Austria Vienna i can confirm is a nasty nasty save. My wage budget was less than the debt repayments
That Hong Kong save is literally Bilbao on steroid
I liked this video. Some really good ideas. Does anyone know of any other youtubers who put out a top 5 most challenging saves video?
I thought the HK team was doable but hard untill the "Only sign players from Hong Kong" team rule. Yeah that is going to be very hard...
ThAnk you for the suggestions jack
IRL Shenzhen have been unable to pay their players in full for the past two years. They promptly relegated in 2023 season
My favourite video every year when it comes out 👍
The Hong Kong save would be pure madness....
Would love to see you try out one of these after P2P.
Think you need to do a Hong Kong u23 save to show us how it’s done
quite tempted by Manaus after I'm happy with where my your world chelsea gets to. Never managed in South America before and want to do something long-term
Bags of potential and no current ability is the story of my life! Hong Kong here we come!
Any chance of a top 10 video with the teams with the best Youth academy’s
I'm managing Southend have managed to get promotion in 3 seasons
Denzilispor, same situation to Bursaspor, with worse facilities, smaller less talented team

The next F1 episode is ready it's just tricky finding a good spot to upload it around FM videos!
Ok then, i mean i come to watch the fm videos but when you do the f1 videos i enjoy it more than the real thing
wow, so if your save wasn't stressful enough?! I love your videos Jack!
Last week, Manaus manage to win the 3rd division league!
They finished 17th... What are you on about..
@@sxeptic-_-6413 you’re right, i’ve mistaken them by Amazonas fc 😂😂
@@vsp8599 hh yeah they won the play offs, i looked it up cause i thought there's no way they won that league with 7 players 😅.
I would say top 5 teams to start a park to prem with
FC Vaduz have to be one of the hardest teams for me as they can't qualify for the Champions League.
They can qualify for the Conference League and work their way up lol

Not sure if you saw that but you can also try Shakter Soligorsk. -35 points to start. 😂😂😂😂
They have an incredible squad! You will very quickly overcome the deduction and within a few seasons be back at the top of Belarus

Manchester City
Real Mariterd
Team you support
Brighton/Empoli
Admir Waker in the Austrian 2nd division are just as hard, no transfer budget, hardly by exciting prospects
Think Kerry fc are a shout in the ireland first division
Off to Brazil it is then... Let me at those 7 players
Southend are the 5th best team in the National League Jack
Maybe in real life! In Football Manager that's not the case
Is it just me or is there just way to much reading in FM24? I find myself button mashing messages just to get to a match?
