I signed Daley Blind, Daichi Kamada, Ben Bereton Diaz and Hector Bellerin on free's for Celtic on the own world game mode which allowed me to focus all my money on a much needed centre back
I always do my first save as the team I support (Coventry) and have started a 'Your World' save as this team. 20 games in and am 4th in the Championship. Sold Gyokeres and Hamer to make it realistic, but also so that I could sign my own players. I have found 3 freebies that seem to be quite good. Nothing spectacular, but for the level I'm playing at, doing a decent job. Antonio Blanco - 23yo Spanish BBM. 5 games played and got a 7.09 rating. Han-Noah Massengo - 22yo French BBM. 4 goals in 13 appearances. 7.19 rating. Amr Warda - 29yo Egyptian AML. 8 goals in 12 games with a 7.28 rating.
Great list. As for a cheaper goalkeeper option, who is costing my Rangers team about 12.5k/week, I'd throw an honourable mention to Timo Horn. Rock solid German goalkeeper with near 300 Bundesliga games. Comes in as solid back up for Jack Butland, but many, many times over the last 10 years in FM has come into lower half premier league sides / upper tier championship sides for me and been rock solid. A regular go to for me!
Coulibaly was excellent for me, I took him to Wrexham on 7.5k wages and used him as an advanced forward. Sold him for £2.5m after that season as I only had him on a 2 year deal. Great to see him pop up on this video!

The issue is that who is free in your world depends entirely on your start date so it's impossible to rank players

Is anyone else having a glitch whereby you cannot select which injury treatment to use for a player? As in its just a blank segment with no options?
