When I got married (2006), my husband was a full time student (working part time). I worked full time, cooked, cleaned, he helped but it was mainly me. Fast forward to today, I’m a stay at home mom and my husband provides for us. We never talked about 50/50 or anything like that…we did what we had to do.
Men will happily die protecting the lady (wife) and children who respect him. Or we will ignore no class witch's in the ghetto on loser street on welfare.
My wife and I met in 2001 when I was living in a one bedroom apartment at 37 years old. She was 26 years old with a Bachelor's degree & terrible credit. She made more than me but I promised to put her in a house within a year. Nine months later we were in our first home. She always worked & I worked as well...I don't believe in that you sit at home while I work. Because you were working before you met me....and you were paying 100% of your bills. Decades later I am retired with our dream home mortgage paid in full. And with several other properties that she could retire within months if she wanted to. She met me with nothing but a dream.....

My ex was one of these women used to say she is independent and doesn't need a man etc to my face. The whole time getting all types of public assistance and me paying most bills. I honestly didn't understand the mindset. Early mistakes for me as a 20 year old. I left after a year or so and learned my lesson. Fast forward to now about 20 years later she cannot find a man that will do anything but smash and is a cat lady at 42.
I never made that mistake again. Been married for 10 years now. I pay 90% of the bills and vacations, and my wife pays for food, extra items, and spending money on vacations. But when I say ANYTHING, I'm a pick me. I've been married for 34 years. I am my husband's helpmate. I got sick and my husband said that I can come home and he's got US. We paid off bills together. Now im a SAHW. The vows say until death do us part. I cook 6 nights a week for my husband. He doesn't eat fast food on paper plates nor does he eat leftovers. He deserves that from me. We don't share bank accounts either. I pay for someone to come in bi-weekly to do my cleaning. I may need to lay down until noon, but my hubby is taken care of otherwise. Fibromyalgia has changed my life, but I refuse to NOT take care of my husbands needs. Luckily, he's the boss and works from home. We married for love and not the bag. His territory is NC and SC. He's busy but we are still devoted to each other. I throw my SSDI check into our house so im STILL adding to our home. Til death do us part is REAL.
