Not one single soul knows everything l've been through. Had my first breakdown last week. People still call me for things they need everyday . "Doing the best I can with every 24 hrs." Keep putting one foot in front of the other...even when your knees are shacking. We are going to make it to the other side. ❤
I’m just amazed that he can actually talk through it, I can’t talk while I cry because my voice will be all over the place LOL people usually laugh when I cry
He spoke volumes in this interview. We joke about mental health, but it isn't a joke. We place pressures on ourselves and those around us on the daily and never realize saying ok isn't the same as being ok. It takes strength to survive. Tyrese is surviving.
Definitely. Especially when you feel like you’ve been wronged by someone and you don’t know why or have real closure to it. Can really affect your mental state and question everything around you.
I don’t understand how the person that leave an initiate the divorce needs to be checked on…! 🤔 When one make a decision, that’s as crucial as (divorce) there’s always a backup planed decision that been, and being MADE..!
I totally felt him when he said that. When I was getting divorced no one showed any concern or consideration. Like I was losing anything as well. Men have feelings as well.
When Tyrese talked openly of what it feels like to be a man struggling to provide....I felt that in my soul. This guy is a pillar representing for male mental health and showing how to conquer it and move on. I love the fact that he even openly stated what antidepressants he takes, but still refused the tissue and kept talking through his pain. That's the real stoicism.
That Tyrese interview on The Breakfast Club was needed... Man bared his soul for all to see, shared his pain & shown his vulnerability... When he said, "I'm doing the best I can every 24 hours I get...", I felt that... I came here expecting to get a few giggles...didnt realize I'd be on the verge of tears myself. Losing your mother is beyond devastating. Tyrese did an excellent interview and I truly believe it was from the bottom of his heart. After this, all I know is I'm going to buy "Beautiful Pain" God bless him 🤗
Ohh lord, Tyrese…man, this interview was powerful. All jokes aside that man was doing nothing but speaking the truth. As a black man, a husband, and father that’s had my share of ups and downs I can attest to the fact that we carry more than we let on. I’ve rarely cried in front of anyone, but have spent time alone in tears as I’ve tried to work through every moment of trauma alone. I appreciate the sentiment of what he said about checking on the man as well. I appreciate the vulnerability. I can understand his perspective and am rooting for him with this release. Great interview.
As a Man carrying so much, this spoke to the parts of my soul I was never taught to access through loss, through divorce, through business struggles, this hit different...Thank you for this therapy and this vulnerability. Truly empowering... My brothers I stand with you in your healing journey as Im on mines.
This interview was a master class in realness of a black man processing, prolifically speaking truth, and still positioned in pain while living within purpose. Simply Epic!🏆🖤
Best Tyrese interview. When Charlemagne ask that question about how he deals with his pain..man that response... life aint nothing to play with life bring happiness and tragedy..its all worth it because we ALL Have One Life.
"Beautiful pain" is a wonderful album, thank you Ty for taking us back to the days where LOVE was really felt in music. 💯 70's baby here all day and everyday for the grown man you are physically, emotionally & mentally. God has you covered and your mama is still smiling down on her baby boy. 💯 😢🙌
Tyrese may never see this comment, but Sir, I am sending you so much love and positive energy. You speaking on your mental health journey was EVERYTHING!! ❤❤🎉🎉 and when you said, "you f'd me up." That hit me hard!! Been there, and every day for me, is a new day to heal and recover. Thank you for being you and sharing your joy and pain.
I respect him for being as transparent as was during this interview. Huge respect for Charlemagne and Lauren for their emotional awareness. Classic Breakfast Club Interview 👏🏾
I have so much respect for Tyrese. Always was a fan but this interview was real. That “I’m doing the best I can with every 24hrs I get” really hit home. Men and women are struggling we have to stop making fun of ppl when we don’t understand their struggles. I’m praying he continues on his healing journey and never give up on life 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Tyrese is speaking facts but y’all aren’t ready or mature enough for that conversation. He looks like he’s in a better space and doing the work. That takes ALOT of energy. He’s literally living in his truth and I love that for him! 🗣️ The Truth Will Set You Free! 🕊️🖤
That is such a tired way of saying he isn't making sense and people who don't agree with you aren't that intelligent. He can talk circles around you and say nothing. That's not truth. I want to like him, but he lives in foolishness.
Oh shut up. If you think he's that deep, that means you're pretty shallow.... I have no problems with Tyrese, but everything he is today, he'll be different by next week.
We understood where you coming from true brother. You not being afraid to face your thoughts and to be alone.. and for you to say you function at your best, when you alone. That's the absolute recipe of life. Most people out there.. pretending to be fine in life.. don't even know how that looks like. Because they always trying to runaway from themselves. Tyrese is the realest man. I'm out of here. This interview is done. There's no line, in the world to replace the realest of that.. ever.!!! That's a human being at peace. On that chair. His name.is Tyrese. We love you brother.
I’m glad Tyrese doesn’t let the world bully him into not talking about his pain. I take my hat off to you sir. So don’t listen to the disrespectful naysayers who will sit there and bully you, but feel sorry for a lying, stealing, selfish TH-camr crying about losing some money or a fake breakup. Thank you Tyrese for keeping it real ❤❤❤.
There’s a lot to unpack here. I watched this yesterday and I thought about it all night and this morning it was on my mind and I wanted to listen to his song wildflower, it was beautiful. I’m 39 years old I’ve been listening to Tyrese since you’ve came out had an opportunity to meet him very early in his career like when his first album came up but didn’t get a chance to and I wish I did. That being said, I feel like I know Tyrese more now than I ever did. This interview was like a movie the up and down the laughs the cries it was beautiful and I really wanted to thank Tyrese for letting us in. I’m not sure if you’ll see this or anybody else will even care to even read it, but it expired me to try to do better as a person and like he said I’m doing the best I can with a 24 hours that I’m giving I felt that in my soul. So Tyrese, I love you, brother and I appreciate you.
Best interview I've seen on the Breakfast Club so far..Tyrese is a Grown Man..many times said..many times have shown..Great singer..Great actor..keep doing great things!!
the fact that Tyrese is still independent, even through the fact he has been overwhelmed with lawsuits, financial, personal issues shows a high level of resilience and perseverance. i see why he cries it’s ALWAYS SOMETHING and instead of bottling it up he let’s out emotion to celebrate, grieve and more. navigating hollywood success authentically would drive most people crazy. it’s ok to cry while healing, staying true to oneself and overcoming a million stressors most people could only imagine
I love Tyrese, he’s so real & people make so many jokes about him & his mental health. He does deal with a bunch of grief & I pray he heals from it all. 🖤
i dont even comment on videos but i must admit i applaud tyrese in his ability to be transparent and vunerable without placing blame and/or lashing out, i hope he is able to see his way out of whatever has him feeling stuck.
Maaaan, this is THE best interview that I've seen on here... Tyrese the realest for this one! As a 40+ year old woman, having experienced divorce, and a lover of CLASSIC soul music who could not care less about what's considered "popular" to man, he definitely spoke to the grown men and women out here... Forget the jewelry, forget the cars, the sex, the money, and whatever other worldly things people chase...The only thing that matters is that we live a life pleasing to Christ, so that we can be the light to brighten the darkness that seem to plague our world... God's blessings to Tyrese, may his testimony continue to reflect the mighty God we serve! 🙏🏾
One thing I can say about Tyrese is he got some classic records but when he sing them live it sounds 10 times better. I remember seeing him on Apollo when his first album came out and the way he sang Sweet Lady stayed in my head all these years.
Talking is therapy for my dawg. He’s in real pain. Lost moms. Lost a relationship. Child support court. Blessed his career is still thriving. 39:54 I hope he continues to heal.
I'm currently going through problems with my wife right now. This interview helped me. Uplifting, heart felt!! Good insight on how to try to approach tough times & overcome them in the healthiest manner!!. Thanks Tyrese 🙏💯
A man who can be vulnerable is a unstoppable force .He's not a man who excessively shows his feelings ,but isn't afraid to say when he's feeling a certain way . As Jody would say in Baby Boy " That's some honesty for your ass"
If they don't appreciate you while you hear. they definitely going to appreciate you while your gone. This interview is one for the ages. Grown men talk 💯💯
Hearing Tyrese talk about God was AMAZING!! We all have to learn that earthly things mean nothing- GOD has to be the source of your strength!! ❤️❤️❤️ i thoroughly enjoyed this interview!!! 👏 👏 🙌 🙌 ❤️❤️❤️
God says, "I will use worldly things to confound the wise", we have gotten so caught up in worldly things, and conditions, that we overlook the value of life. And as wise as we are as people, we have become so lost in the things of the world.

I felt so much of this interview. The sheer PAIN I’ve felt over the years from my divorce..the disrupted relationship with my children…literally not being able to recognize the same person you married, laid down and had kids with anymore. They go from once being a wife to spitting poisonous venom at the sound of your name. Still feeling the storm from decisions made 2 decades ago. It’s some powerful stuff. 20 stacks a month for the next 17 years……yeah he has to keep working. That ain’t no small order. Keep grinding Tyrese!
I’ve always loved Tyrese and the Breakfast club was not fair to him when he was going through his depression. Yet they always talking about “mental health”. I pray that Tyrese continues to bless us with his talent and overcome his trauma

I came here expecting to get a few giggles...didnt realize I'd be on the verge of tears myself. Losing your mother is beyond devastating. Tyrese did an excellent interview and I truly believe it was from the bottom of his heart. After this, all I know is I'm going to buy "Beautiful Pain" God bless him 🤗
Weirdo😂 all man
Ohh lord, Tyrese…man, this interview was powerful.
I love how he acknowledged everyone in the room even the camera men very humble I love him
As a Man carrying so much, this spoke to the parts of my soul I was never taught to access through loss, through divorce, through business struggles, this hit different...Thank you for this therapy and this vulnerability. Truly empowering... My brothers I stand with you in your healing journey as Im on mines.
Good luck, brother, I am also on mine
Sending you a hug 🤗

This was a great interview. Tyrese deserves his flowers cuz that man can SANG and he’s been through a lot of loss. May he find peace in his heart
Tyrese captures me with every interview he does. He’s such a great storyteller and I wish him more success, this man truly deserves happiness 🫶🏾
"If you ain't never meet a Real Person- I'm sitting (Right Here)"- Tyrese
Charlemagne is so sexy to me ❤
"Beautiful pain" is a wonderful album, thank you Ty for taking us back to the days where LOVE was really felt in music. 💯
70's baby here all day and everyday for the grown man you are physically, emotionally & mentally.
Sending you a cyber hug❤❤

I respect him for being as transparent as was during this interview. Huge respect for Charlemagne and Lauren for their emotional awareness. Classic Breakfast Club Interview 👏🏾
Tyress might not realise it but he's gone through a break through to be rebirthed. He has become his authentic self. He's 100% real. 💜
A divorce does that to you! ✊🏾
I have so much respect for Tyrese. Always was a fan but this interview was real. That “I’m doing the best I can with every 24hrs I get” really hit home. Men and women are struggling we have to stop making fun of ppl when we don’t understand their struggles. I’m praying he continues on his healing journey and never give up on life 🙏🏽🙏🏽
The way he threw those napkins 😂😂😂 I lost it. But he dropped some gems. Powerful stuff.
I love when Tyrese comes up there. He’s naturally funny and I love how he always has a powerful message.

Man I love Tyrese honesty in this interview. This man has felt pain and grief and seems to have grown from it all.

Well said.
I love Tyrese, he’s so real & people make so many jokes about him & his mental health. He does deal with a bunch of grief & I pray he heals from it all. 🖤

Respect for hugging tyrese in this moment. He needed that. So many of us Black men need that.
This is grown man Tyrese and I am here for him. Whew! Great interview 🥹. So many emotions!
Lord, keep Tyrese in peace of mind and spirit. Amen 🤲🏾
Dam he made me laugh and cry and then laugh again. Tyrese is a real dude
i dont even comment on videos but i must admit i applaud tyrese in his ability to be transparent and vunerable without placing blame and/or lashing out, i hope he is able to see his way out of whatever has him feeling stuck.
I love you Tyrese. Your raw unfiltered honesty is refreshing. Stay strong ❤
That’s part! My GOODNESS! I felt all of his pain!

This Interview is “HERE MY DEAR!” Shout out to intelligent, honest, transparent, dialogue. Salute

This is a very powerful sit down… protect Tyrese…. Please… He is legendary, so give him all his flowers while this brother is still with us…
What an interview! Thank you Tyrese for being open, honest and real. Especially in a time where fake is common place. May God continue to bless you.
