In 2014, I visited the BMW Museum in Germany and saw the original BMW S1000RR HP4 in persion. Since that moment, it's been my #1 dream bike. When BMW announced the 2019 / 2020 BMW S1000RR redesign, I knew I had to get it. Seriously, this is #goals for me and to even be in the position to be able to get a bike like this, I am incredibly thankful. It took some work to even find one at this point, but I did. I'm beyond excited to see what we can do with this over the years (this bike isn't going anywhere), but as-is, it's already insane. I hope you SUBSCRIBE to follow along!

11:00 Anyone else cringe when he scrubbed the wheels and rotors THEN scrubbed the tank? Always clean top to bottom, wheels are last and preferably use a separate mitt.

@@theone2be33 APC to break down loose dirt on wheels, pre clean with snow foam and then rinse, foam again, brush for details, 2 buckets one with soap and the other with watter and a grit guard, cleaning a panel or part, cleaning the sponge/microfiber handmitt and then going again on the soap, trying to just not contaminate the paintwork, rinse again all up, deironizer for the wheels, wheel cleaning brush and rinse again, dry with a bllower to not let anny drops of watter dry and leave spots, im not a pro but i know my stuff, but just not cleaning the wheels and then the bodywork because thats just dumb

I definitely feel you on how you secured your bike purchase. I went through the same thing some years ago when I purchased my first RC51. Back in 2000 it was the "hot bike" and all the dealers were "price gouging" because of limited allocation. But I found an obsure Honda dealer similar to your situation, in upstate NY that dealt mostly in off-road.Not only was I surprised to find the bike, but he sold it to me at msrp and no dealer add-ons.Great story you shared; it brought back memories.
