    Thanks for the great information the problem that I have is being able to use a complete tube if I haven't used the tube for a while it starts getting hard and it's difficult to get the glue to come out and then I end up having to buy a new tube when the first one is not empty . And your hair looks really cute

    As a tent seam sealer and repairs?
    I have used this for years, i have a 15 year old Eureka Zephyr XT tent i
    used this on and it has never cracked, peeled never a drop of water
    comes through.
    It's cheap at Walmart go on clear and is flexible so far for 15 years.
    The one good thing and as well as a bad thing is, it drys fast so put a
    say six to eight inch bead along the seam and run your finger pressing
    hard to stretch as much of the liquid along the seam as you can, it
    doesn't take much.
    But it will dry fast.
    I bring a small tube with me when in the field as you can repair holes
    and rips as long as you have some extra material for a patch.

    Yes Yes Yes that’s my number one cons as well, once I open and use it that glue keep running 🏃‍♀️ and running 🏃‍♀️ and running 🏃‍♀️ 😂 I thought it was something I was doing wrong, I’m new at learning to make crafts and because I try to keep the running glue from getting everywhere, I still manage to get glue on my products where I don’t want it. It’s been driving me 🤦🏽‍♀️ so much until I be having to take a 10 or 15 minutes break

    Thanks for sharing! I had some concerns with E6000 due to the solvents it contains so I have been trying to find a substitute. I had wood glue for wood crafts, hot glue for those crafts that doesn't need strength and I just found a new product for the rest. the name is Superunix, I found it in Hobby Lobby but I guess it is in more places. is like a super glue but does not smell and works on styrofoam. Thanks again, good to see that I am not the only one that reads the hazardous sentences :)

    • @DanielleWalcott
      @DanielleWalcott  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Pamela. Good question. Hot glue: Apply heat to melt and remove. For other glues, I would say acetone; not the commercial finger nail remover (it would work, just a little slower), but pure acetone would be your best bet. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching. ~ Danielle 💕

    I am so glad I saw this video. E6000 doesn't work for me very well. I will let something sit for a couple of days and it still comes apart very easily. I had wondered in the past if it was the humidity--I live in Texas on the Gulf Coast. What is the best alternative that will work in humid areas and is strong.

    • @DanielleWalcott
      @DanielleWalcott  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Pam! Yes. The e6000 is susceptible to humidity. Gorilla Glue epoxy is humidity resistant. I would caution you to read the label, however, to see just what you can adhere with it as I cannot remember everything. I hope this helps!Thanks for watching! Until next time, be well. ~ Danielle ❤️❤️❤️

    Good Morning! I am using E6000 for blinging wine glasses, but sometimes it gets messy. How can I take E6000 of the glasses without ruining the rhinestones and glass. I don't want it to leave a residue! Help! 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

    • @DanielleWalcott
      @DanielleWalcott  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Zee! Yes, I would suggest being very careful with the application and scent of the E6000. However, in the event of a spillage and prior to the glue setting, I would recommend using acetone and nail polish remover alternately, never at the same time. That should remove any residue left behind. I hope this helps.Thanks for watching. Until next time, be well. ~ Danielle 💕

    I agree with you on all of them except when you came to the smell.... that should've been number one on the list of cons!! That smell is horrible! 👍👍👍

      Hi, Valerie. No. Not that I have found. I tend to try to close it securely and as quickly as possible after every use. I, too, have had to throw away tubes for the very same reason. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching! Until next time, be well! ~ Danielle 💕

    E6000 doesn't give me a strong hold even after 72 hrs. I can still take the project apart and easily remove the E6000, it comes off like a piece of rubber! I use Gorilla clear glue, that's not coming apart, Maybe is because I live in Miami and the humidity, IDK but it's a mess and my tube is not runny if anything it's thick sticky, it doesn't even have a strong smell , I'm so confused , what kind of E6000 is this 😞

      I live in humid Greater New Orleans and I also have this problem. Some projects hold tight and others pull apart like hot glue!

      @@therealJamieJoy thank you, I thought I was the only one having this issue because all I ever hear about is E6000 so that's why I went and purchased it, I use it as an adhesive to grab 2mm gemstones lol

      It has to be the humidity. So many crafty YTers use it in videos. Also, I glued rhinestone flatback to the knobs of my Interdesign acrylic boxes-- a lot of the sparkle went out of them I think from the glue. The type of flatbacks were Large clusters like jewels that could be worn as buttons or earrings. They weren't that cheap! :( E6000 has not been the best to me.

      Hi, Vala! Yes, the responses you have gotten from Darling Jamie is 100% correct. It is the humidity. E6000 and humidity does not play well. I will be addressing this on Monday. I hope you'll stay tuned. Thanks for watching! Until next time, be well. ~ Danielle 🌺

    I came here to find a solution to the oozing problem. Has anyone figured it out?

    • @DanielleWalcott
      @DanielleWalcott  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Hope. Oozing as in out of the tube? Or when you glue two items together? If it is the prior concern, I have not heard of any fixes, no. Thanks for watching. Thanks for watching. Until next time, be well. ~ Danielle

    🙏💕“Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen
