Beautiful colors and loved the way you have explained knitting. I just finished blanket for my nephew with the chunky yarn. I have always knit with the thinner yarn and the ends looked neat, but with the chunky yarn The ends did not come well. Not sure why
Hey, I have never knitted before but I would love to knit a very easy/beginner level baby blanket, for my first baby who we're expecting in May! We've been sent some lovely things by my mother-in-law, knitted by her and her mother, and I love the tradition and would like to continue it on. Can I knit the above pattern in a appropriate wool/yarn, potentially adjusting the size so it would be suitable for a baby blanket? If not, can you recommend another pattern for me? I've never even touched a knitting needle so I'm a complete beginner! Thank you, Sarah
For the wrap blanket. When adding on new colour wool do we alternate what side we attach it to in order to have the dash only on one side of the blanket? As when I attach the new colour on the same side where the previous colour was attached the dash keeps coming on the wrong side as the first one
Sorry I am new to knitting and want this to be my first project! When you switched colour initially it looked like the working yarn was a few stitches back? Do you cast off in between colours or just introduce a new colour?

I love the look of this blanket. Could you use the process of swapping the wool over to just join wool? X
Hey there! Yes, it can be used for changing to a new colour, or just adding in a new ball when your yarn runs out.
