21700 protected cells Is a issue for me but... have charged thousands of times on two Xstar vp2's for all my 18650's for years now and always perfectly charged the cells. For people that don't need to charge 21700 protected cells I'm 100% sure this charger will last you a long time and be happy with it 😎👍

I have a X Star and recommend it to anyone looking for a good charger, but I wonder why they won't make all these chargers a quarter inch longer to get the 21700 protected cell to fit in the charger, what's the matter with these companies.

Nice charger gonna buy one I need the power bank option on it I have the vc4 really good charger tho xstar should have the vc4 with powerbank built in to that will be cool and a voltage step up of some kind would be cool convert the 4.2 v to 12v and that or adjustable voltage step up from 4.2 to 5v and 6 v and 12v :) or you can just plug in usb step up to the chargers output

Really love the design and display. I can live with it that it can't charge protected 21700. But I can't accept that this VC2S or the VC4S cannot set charging current. Really a pity.
