    This is what difficult learning curve application like Maya should be. Quick, always right to the point with great description what the function is doing.

    I have watched various videos on how to create smoke, and this one is the best one. Very straight forward and you also talk about the attributes and what it does. Thank you so much.

    how do you get the smoke the follow an object, say for example it's emitting from the top of a steam train while it's moving, you still want the smoke to rise up but you want it to fall behind as the object moves

    This tutorial is brilliant, could you tell me how to change starting size of the smoke? I'm trying to create cigarette smoke and by default it's pretty large, and I can't wrap my head around where find this setting.

      try, under Dynamic Simulation playing with the viscosity slider. this will make the smoke slow, dense but thin in line.

    Hi, Ruan. I have a problem in Maya and I can't get rid of it. How do you clear Opacity PP command under Per Particle (Array) Attributes? I was following a tutorial and it said to apply an attribute. I read, and read, and shut it down and reset the settings.... nothing works. I also did a right-click and chose Break Connection. The attribute is still there. and it is affecting all the work I do with particles. It is an Opacity and an RGB attribute. Do you have any idea about how to clear that attribute from there? Thank you.

    So cool. Is this smoke sim feature available in the student version or do you need to install it? Also, do I need to be a student of visual art to get it?

    how i can change the color of the smoke??

    • @luckyboycreates5950
      @luckyboycreates5950 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      selection the fluid1, then in the attribute editor go under shading, and there will be a ramp you can select what color gradient desire for the smoke.
