I really appreciate the tips on how to use the Garmin. I'm still learning how to use mine. Thanks Brian.
I've been looking at fish finders for awhile now and never pulled the trigger. After not having any luck I decided on a budget hummingbird. Thankfully my wife delayed my purchase and surprised me with my brand new Garmen Echomap UHD 73SV for my 50th Birthday. let's say I'm SUPER excited as this is sooooo much better than the Hummingbird. I'm just awaiting for my no drill transom mount to arrive for the transducer and it's ready for the water. Thanks for helping me learn how to use my unit so I'm ready for the water. I can't wait to hopefully start catching over just casting...
keep the videos coming
Sir your the reason I almost have all my boat ready for 3 Garmins.Great videos

Good vid Brian. Checked your guide schedule and man you are slammed! Nice work.
Very helpful thanks for all tips
Have a nice vacation will miss you
Also I did get this same garmin unit you have, two of them. However one will be used for livescope which I’m still learning. None is on my boat at this time. Just got them
You the man! Your videos inspired me to make my own livescope videos!
Are you gonna crappie fish anytime soon? been missing it!
I only really crappie fish in the winter, couple months yet!
@@KansasAnglingExperience Got ya! Congrats on your Garmin news!
I'm a bass guy here for the maps set-up but I always say my treble hooks will get hooked on anything but a damn fish lol.
True story
Another great video !!! Keep em coming.
Does that shading feature assume the lake is at 100% capacity? Some of my lakes in AZ are only 50-60% full at times… thanks
Yes, it just highlights what the map contours show. In GPSMap models you can adjust the lake levels.
What treble hook size do you change too, thanks David
#6 mustad triple grip elites
where do i find the area on my 93 sv that shows the north up on my lake map book got misplaced thx john
I wanted to see that channel. Looked like a good one
I have seen guys in Kansas loading the boat with drum for the fish fry. And the drum were biting almost everywhere on everything.
Gross
Nice
Does your spot lock act up sometimes on that motor my terrova seems to want to spin me in circles
Only when there’s no wind at all. New terrovas have much better spot lock than the old ones.
So do you run those transducers side by side? What if you have a garmin and a lowrance? I ask because I have stuff on my lowrance ( original unit).
I only run one now. When you run two you just have to make sure they are either on both the port and starboard sides of the boat, or run one (your main side imaging transducer), above or below the other. Otherwise the other will block the side imaging to whatever side it’s on.
Awesome video
Killing it!
I really like your vid but would love to no more about mapping in Canada for shading what do I need for mapping will not work for shading in Ontario
Please can you tell me which is better for deep water garmin echo sv series or lowrance elite fs? Thank you in advance!
Garmin
Great video Brian, but I would appreciate it you kept your dirty stinking lures out of my “Bean Hole!” And stop hurting my kitties! 🤣
What size are the jigging raps you usually use in your videos ? THANKS
All 7’s
What lake is that?
Northeast Kansas lake
Which trolling motor are u using
Terrova
what year is your boat?
2003
"he hit it like a sum bitch though" lol!
Are you fishing humps, or what’s the structure?
Yeah, main lake humps.
@@KansasAnglingExperience cool, I live down here in NW Arkansas about 15 minutes from Beaver Lake, and they say there’s a lot of walleye in it.
@@joeybohannon5536 there are, and big ones too!
Why not keep the fish? I didn't know one Garmin is not enough. I got lots to learn...
Because as hard as it is to believe, people can go fishing for the sport and not keep everything they catch.
