I always told my boys, “Do you know how I learned to do this? By my mistakes! Learn from my mistakes.” I avoided a lot of problems and mistakes by learning the widow of my father-in-law. Thanks for sharing your experience and wisdom so others can avoid mistakes!
Thank you, I started this channel to teach others how to on some of the equipment I have. I was looking to learn for myself and didn't find anything. I guess I find enjoyment in helping others.
I didn't show the part where I was doing a hand stand to see what I was doing. It was not a pretty sight, lol. Thanks for being here. I just saw my sub # hit 1000. That is so cool. I have you along with many others to thank for this.
Hello Tim! Saw that you are building a shop! We just built one 3 years ago and now we don’t know what we did without it! Thank you for sharing! Hope harvest goes well! Blessings!
Yep ,need to put strings on your tool so when they fall you won’t have to climb down to get them . Thanks for sharing, enjoyed watching! With hope ,a well service machine, minimal to none break down.
God has blessed me and I have not had any major problems. I give Him all the praise and glory. The Christian life is not easy or glorious but I would trade it for anything else. God is great and in the end we are winners.
Thanks, we started beans Tuesday but had to stop last night. Combine is running great but the beans were getting wet. I need to catch up on editing and posting. These nights 7 days a week on 12 hours shifts is tough.
Yes, it went well all things considered. This work shutdown is kicking my rear-end. Only getting about 3 to 4 hours a day to work on things. I think everything is ready to go for harvest just need some dry weather. Thanks for being here and watching.
Looks like it went well Mr Tim!! Good thing they caught it before harvest!! I totally understand time with another off the farm job! Wow, that is some hours for sure, right here at harvest time ☹️ Never fails to drop a wrench when you are way up high🤦 Hope it all works out and ty can get to harvest soon!! Thank you for bringing us along, look fwd to more sir!!
good hours to build pension to be able to retire some day and farm! Glad you went with rebuild vs aftermarket, we have had mixed luck with after market stuff. with the new shop we are going back to rebuilding water pumps, hydraulic pumps, scv outlets.... you need a rope from the wrench to your hand!
At work for this shutdown, they implemented 10 life saving rules. If you break on of these rules you can be fired for it. One of them is drop or falling objects. I guess I'm getting fired, lol. Work 12.5 hours, getting ready and drive to and from work 2 hours, sleep for 6 hours, leaves 3 hours to do the farm thing. Doesn't leave much time, lol. But yes my retirement $ is growing but not as much as what I'm giving to Biden, lol.
@@TAHDAHFarm Yeah that gets old fast you might have to be around somebody who tested positive for covid You can get your harvest done I haven't said nothing on my channel but my wife told me to put my job this fall. He had to build the new shop 25 years ago so I could have worked with dad the whole time.
That will be great. Enjoy the time you have with him because it will come to an end some day. I wish I could have spent more time with my dad. They delivered my trust last week and hopefully they will be able to start the barn in the next couple of weeks. I will then have a shop that I can get most things into work on them.
Good thing no one was working underneath you, or they would have gotten a headache! LOL I hate when I drop tools, especially when they don't hit the floor!!
That is the worst, cough somewhere. When I was done I found several other tools that fell down and didn't even know that they had fallen. I always try to put all the tools back way in there place to know if something is missing.
It is but the fields are still wet from the rains. Beans are just about right. I'm taking Tuesday and Wednesday off from the shutdown to cut the beans. Hopefully this rain coming through Indiana goes north of us .

Tim thank you very much for making this video and definitely for filming the entire process of putting that pump back on.

I wish I would have built my 3 years ago. It would have been a lot cheaper. Thanks for being here and supporting me.
@@TAHDAHFarm We thought it was expensive then! 🤷♀️

That went pretty well! Water pump is now one less thing to worry about.

Thank you, you have been a big encouragement and also one from the beginning of this adventure. Again thank you.
@@TAHDAHFarm I’ve enjoyed the ride, Tim. I’ve even learned along the way - that’s invaluable. Much appreciated.

Well you got that fixed. The machine is probably field ready by now.
