@@izzieh7335 Ask us what we're currently reading or what some of our favorites are! I'm currently reading Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, and had a great convo with a customer who had read it and was buying Circe. Some of us are more introverted than others, but most of us are working in bookstores because we love books, and books are often the topic that will bring us out of our shells!

My sister went to uni at Cambridge and I used to visit her there multiple times a year and I even lived there for one summer, and I think it’s one of the most beautiful little city I’ve ever visited! The city center is small and cozy, all the old buildings are beautiful and the surrounding “country side” around Cambridge is also so beautiful. There is an apple orchard not too far from Cambridge where you can get scones and tea and it’s such a wonderful place! I really miss Cambridge ❤️

It reads very similarly to a Shakespearean tragedy (no surprise there, it's immaculately researched and structured) so you get that wonderful surge of catharsis at the end of the book as well.
