    Just a suggestion. If you don't have explanations on your items people just pass them up sometimes. So put on the tag like the skeleton put vintage Halloween and eyes blink. So they know what it does and it's vintage. Etc etc. It helps the customer understand and probably sell better!! Love the 3D PRINTING items. So cool!! Love the booth. Nice guys! Doing a great job!

    14:19 Murano glass is not a brand it's a series of islands north of Venice, Italy. They are renown for their glassmaking with dozens if not hundreds of glassmakers. That being said, I doubt that piece is Murano glass. Original pieces from that region are usually finely made and signed/identified.

    Josh and Haley, the enthusiasm you exude for your booth project is pure delight and is definitely inspiring others. I think you should write a short (or long) story about reselling, things you learn, tips specifically directed at booth reselling (because it is becoming a very popular and sensible venue for sales). Book name, "The Gumball Experience", in fact, give your booth that name.

  • @metalgirl1969

    So as a pottery and glass collector ,I recommend that you do a Google lens search on an item before you price it. There is so much competition out there and you do not want to overprice yourself out of a sale. Assigned piece is going to bring you more money than an unsigned. A lot of time when resellers and collectors are shopping if they take a look at one piece and realize it's overpriced they won't even bother to look at the rest of your booth so when you're doing these more specific items I just recommend that you do a little more homework on them. I hope you guys make tons and tons of money I love your videos

    • @HairyTornado

    My dad drove a milk truck back in the late 1950s. He picked up cans of milk from all of the dairy farms in the area, loaded them into the milk truck by hand, and then unloaded them at the milk plant. So I can confidently tell you that those milk “crates” are cans. 😂 Of course, they went out of use long before you were born! They make pretty good stools as is. I suppose putting a wood top on them could make an interesting end table. Make sure you check the bottom of the cans before putting any weight on them. That’s where they tend to rust.

    • @katherinemorey6517
      @katherinemorey6517 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm here to second that: they are milk cans and I've sold quite a few over the years from my antiques and collectibles shop. Many people use them as stools, usually adding decorative cushioning, but they also make great porch, patio or garden decor, as is or painted. They'd look great, one on either side of an entryway door with plants on top. I can tell, Josh, that you seem to be struggling with what to call your space. You're right; it isn't an "antique" booth, so just call it the booth. We'll know what you're talking about. You're both doing a great job with all your projects, and you're very enjoyable to watch!! Thanks for all your efforts 🙂

    I love your enthusiasm for the booth. However go easy now that the booth is stocked….keep your eyes open for items that reach out and grab you. Listen to Haley….she’s going to get a good sense of what’s worthy of the booth. Also in a booth things will ‘sit’ because your market is much smaller than what you are used to with whatnot and eBay where things fly off the shelf, so to speak. Your turn over will be much slower so it’s ok to sit there awhile without marking them down right away. Keep up the good work!

    When she said “why do you keep buying stuff like that” I felt that in my soul. We are also a husband wife team and he is currently on a baseball hat kick lol

    The lava lamp gets very hot on the bottom. you need to put it on a silicone trivet. Ours gets really hot.

    Love the addition of the booth, my parents have been getting into selling at flea markets so getting some helpful info from your journey. That 3-6 years gave me a good chuckle 😂

    Josh I think you should make nice porch tables or decor with the milk crates for your front porch!

    I have a couple of the milk cans, painted them with black semi gloss tremclad paint and one sits in my garden and one is on my porch with a plant on it.

    Your videos make me smile. I usually watch them when I’m on the tread mill, running.
    I think you’re onto something with this gum ball thing, just haven’t figured out the next step.

    I just got a milk container like those, good to know the pricing. Might save it for a yard sale next summer so I can collect other things to add in to make it worth my time, too bad you are not closer to PA.

    We had a beautiful piece of mahogany from my husbands dad... we moved to Florida and the ONLY thing that moving company lost was that piece of mahogany. Out of a 3200 sf house with a basement the mahogany is then only thing that got clipped (I am sure it was stolen, it was beautiful). Honestly, we would have never used it and would have moved it 10 times since then LOL. I hope whoever has it made a lovely side table with it.
