"Come to our booth and feel our slug" LOLOLOL! Classic!
I’m gonna make shirts that say “I felt the slug”
I know what a real slug feels like, I don’t need to feel a Fake One 😂😂 You Both are so Funny with the Gum ball Machine 😂 It’s like Christmas Every Time You open it up ❤
would be so funny
Josh, if you have a Habitat Restore near you, you might find a vanity and sink there for a reasonable amount. Just an idea. 😊
Antique booth is doing alright. Good finds.😊 Need to see Mose, miss the fluff ball. God bless stay safe until the next video 💓 😍
Kim, I feel Josh and Haley have good items for the booth, at good prices, though a lot of locals, that don't go online, may not know about their booth. Perhaps if they made up some flyers and pass them out when they go grocery shopping, the hardware store, etc. to help spread the word. : ) If all of us in the comment section lived closer, they'd sell out, right? : )
I get so excited about the gumball machine! lol! The lava lamp looks great in the booth too! I bet you will sell it quickly now that people can see it works!
A way to differentiate house flip items from your regular inventory is to use a different pricing system. For example, if regular inventory is priced with numbers ending in zero, price your house flip items with the nine as the last digit. So a regular item would have say a $10.00 price tag, while an equivalent house flip item would be marked at $9.99.
that's genius!
Yup
I think the gumball machine is awesome!! Josh, put small trinkets you find in the ball containers! We adults like those machines too!
I recommend pricing everything in your booth-including the displays. If it sells, you get to search for a new display and it also keeps your store looking fresh. Good idea from others to price store items ending in an odd number.
Please share your whatnot shows to TH-cam!? I can’t always catch it live, but they’re so much fun to watch. Love y’all so much!
I have asked before and Josh didn't say no, so maybe, maybe there will be a 30-minute auction in the future. I would love to see it, since I live in Australia.
@@BlutoLongneckfingers crossed 🤞✨
Even I would love tonsee all auctions on youtube... please share.... especially the disney ones....
Plug a timer into the battery pack, then plug the lamp into the timer - that way it will just take care of itself.
The timer would need to be plugged in and Josh said there was not an electrical outlet close to his booth. Hence the battery pack.
The timer plugged in between the lamp and the battery pack is definitely a good idea, and a good way to potentially scare workers who are there when it turns on 😂. Only draw back would be the days they’re closed
To make a distinction on the items in the booth that were bought for your house flip have the prices in 50 cents or maybe 15.97 that way when you get your statement you can tell which items were bought for the flip.
21:42 Omg it's the Everything Is Fine Dog Plush !
Ideas - bathroom vanity…Amazon sells a very narrow short shelf on wheels. The taller version is usually used next to the fridge for storage. It might fit, you could paint it to match something in the bathroom. I know women would love it, can hold hair products, makeup, cleaning supplies, extra T paper…
Shelf for your booth- don’t forget to put a tag that says’Not for sale’. Otherwise you will get tons of people wanting to buy it.
Another great video!!!
I look forward to the regular gumball machine updates. Love to Mose!
I still have those Disney glasses...I have a set of 4 that I still use! They are the perfect size!
Those books are called “Big Books,” and the primary teachers use them to share with the kids during circle time and whole class instruction. Teachers love them!!!
I’m not super in to “fidget” toys, but I love love LOVE the slug toy. I have one of those - bought it from some cheesy tourist shop in Florida when we were on vacation last year, and it TRULY is one of the most SATISFYING things to play with. It makes satisfying noise and feels amazing to just wiggle around lol. 😂
Yes!
New T shirt idea? "Feel the slug" 🤣 Can't wait to see the house progress! Keep up the good work!
So glad you guy's brought the music back. To me it provided a perfect ending to your awesome videos.
Our house bathrooms have filler strips on all the vanities. You can try to match the finish or use a contrast used in the rest of the room.
Your videos are very entertaining! Chillin on a Sunday afternoon!
Grew up two miles from Georgetown Leather Design originally in DC.
Georgetown Leather Design was a Washington, DC, based specialty retailer of fine leather goods. It started in the 1960s with handcrafted leather goods like sandals, belts, bags, etc. It grew through the 1970s and sold its own designs of bags and outerwear, which it manufactured in Alexendria, Virginia. In addition to its stores at 32nd and M Street in Georgetown and 17th and K Street south of Dupont Circle, it opened stores in suburban malls like Tysons Corner, Springfield, White Flint, Landover, and Mazza Gallerie. In 1984 the founders sold the company to holding company, which in 1993 sold the company to Wilson Leather.
Laughing at Josh being a child with the bug toy, "Hayley, Hayley, Look, You're not looking, Hayley!"
Oh joshua. Those rubber style birkies are a DUDD. !! My family calls them Aunt Kimis fart sandals. If there is any amt of moisture every step is a TOOT sound. So embarrassing 😂😂
I bet! 🤣
When I go to Antique shops if I see glass ware or paint I usually pass it. I love to see your Disney stuff
A suggestion for the bathroom vanity, one big space with shelves is more useful than two small unless they’re each about a foot wide. Decent sized shelves/ pigeon holes would be great for towels etc.
I think it’s fabulous that you’re renovating for $20 🦘🇦🇺🌞
The heart in shakespeare clothes cracked me up, the awkward yeti makes awesome comics :)
you may have finished the bathroom vanity issue by now....... but you could always consider putting in a thin sliding shelf unit (something like you perhaps have seen for spices in the kitchen) that slides out for small items additional storage space.
You should put support your friends merch in the booth!!!❤
Love the briefcases! Love to get them at a thrift store, too
Another happy video! You always make me happy and warm. All three of you! Keep going guys! I love you ❤
I have that old bass Lodge sign, I bought it at a gas station when I was traveling.
One way to remember what goes to the house budget and what doesn’t would be to end the price like $4.99 and the stuff that isn’t part of the budget is $4.95. So when you look at your sales online you’ll know which one is which
That bag of magnets was cool!!!
And forgot.. stop by our booth and touch the slug. 🤣🤣
Never has there been a bigger ringing endorsement for a business than, "Come by and feel our slug...you won't be sorry." LOL
I found that exact slug in my bins in Texas. I also found a mini one that is now on my keychain. I like the feel, too.
Re the bathroom vanity... a prefab unit's top extends out each end forming a natural gap. Need to take that into consideration.
Thank you for another fun video of this house❤👏 and how to pay for it thrifting. Lots of love to both of you! Can't wait till the next one🤩
Those Disney ornaments would probably do well in the booth. Price them up and what ever does sell you could take to what not a week or so before Christmas
Josh and Hayley! Thanks for taking us along! I appreciate you both so much! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!!
Wilson leather had a store in the 80’s specializing in leather and fur
I’m so glad you guys got that planter Hayley found it’s so cute I would totally buy it at your booth!
Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮
The Vuori hat you bought is a brand from Finland.
And so is the Marimekko hat you sold one or two videos ago. 😊
Keep up the good spirit, always like to watch your videos! 😊❤
You threw back a vintage Homco bird wall decor!!! 😮 Not worth a ton but I love those! lol
nice find, just sold a belt buckle last week i got for 5.99 for 600$$$ Its out there just have to find it :)
Who would pay $600 for a belt? Lol😅
Rich people
And it’s not a belt just the buckle 😂
@@mikeengelmann233 it was sterling silver and made by some master engraver. Super odd to find in a thrift store for sure
Fill the gap on the side of vanity with a piece of wood to blend in with cabinet! Just a thin cover piece on each side and have the vanity the correct width nbdy will even know its there. They do it all the time with kitchen cabinets.
Love seeing booth and house flip!!!
Haha, I think that's the bag of magnets that bearded picker and wife saw at a garage sale in one of their last vids. Guess it never sold....
I thought the same It has to be that same bag of magnets
yes i thought the same.... do you guys live near eachother??!!
All I can say is, keep upthe motivation. You guys are awesome. 👍👍👍
I got my 1 yr old niece one of those slug fidget toys and it's one of her favourite toys to play with.
Did anyone else ever expect him to tell everyone visiting his booth to play with his slug?? XD ahaha
Sweet FTW Army Ikea bag cameo!
I am finding it funny how many people are calling you out for the WH mug! It is also a BOLO btw. I sell them quickly anytime I find one.
I’d love having an “antique” booth! I’d fill it with random fun things too. I don’t think there’s a place like that around me in NJ and if there is, definitely not within a normal driving distance worth it enough to have
I am very glad that you have expanded your horizons.
For your business.
But can I ask that you guys show your eBay stuff?
I hope that you can do that Period thank you for all the stuff you post. I try to watch them all.
Just booked my flight from Philly to come feel your slug!!😂😂😂
lol Please update after and let us know if it was worth the trip.
🤣
The Awkward Yeti is a comic by Nick Seluk. He has a website with merchandise, several books, board/card games, etc. Very entertaining. That plushie is the Heart. Nick Seluk has a comic based on your body organs. Sounds gross but it's very entertaining. The heart and the brain are constantly battling over what to do in life.
You could do half shelves with medicine cabinets for the vanity
I bought one of those slug toys for my grandson when he was born, they are very cool and I love the sound it makes.
Our Goodwills do not have furniture or jewelry anymore. They have very little hard goods or electronics, mostly clothing.
“I can’t explain it. There’s just something very satisfying about it” 🥴🥴🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the videos about the booth they are so fun
Your booth is really looking good.
Regarding the slug...my friend was dealing with FND, functional neurological disorder and her therapist gave her one of these to "ground" her. When I would drive her to appts she would fidget with it and somehow it helped. I found this info on one: Not your average slug! This slug is actually a fidget sensory toy that has innovative spherical design that allows it to be twisted every which way. This unique toy relieves stress, improves focus and concentration, and makes a pleasant sound when shaken that's great for decompression.
You may want to look at a Restore for the bathroom vanity. Contractors donate materials and used / new sold to profit Habitat for Humanity
🎉so fun seeing y’all try to earn more house budget money!😅 God bless!🕊️🙏🏼
So excited about the remote control bug, lol old kid problems I feel it
Another fun and exciting vid especially when it's time to reveal the Gumball Machine Takings 🤣 Keep it up Josh and Hayley.. 👍🇦🇺🦘
If that bag is from “Wilsons” that is a leather store. Nice stuff. I’ve found a couple purses from there and they sold well.
Uh oh time to go shop and build that budget back up
Josh, you need to add 2 dollars to the house flip budget because you are keeping the Waffle House mug for personal uses, so your total is now $461.20. Fun video.
I came here to say the same thing ☺👌
I was going to leave this comment as well.
@@andrewchapman4313 I totally missed that, but I'm going to say I was going to leave the same comment so I can seem like I'm smarter than I am.
So.... Yeah. Add back, like, $2 because of waffles - and how delicious they are. Oh, and coffee mugs.
Ditto
First the gum balls, now the Waffle House mug. The embezzlement is getting out of control 😂
Hey Josh, next time Haley is cheesing, please turn that camera on her. Her smile lights up the room. : ) On the flip house, sink wall gap, maybe make a pull-out shelf unit, like they do in the kitchen area of almost every tiny house. A pull-out shelf would make it safer for small kids, because it would blend into the cabinet. Out of sight, out of mind, so to speak.
If you embrace e the gap; see if you can get se of those rolling g kitchen spice shelves. Generally about3-5" wide, great for storing shampoo, conditioner & various other beauty & hygiene products
Hi I live in England and I bought one of those bendy slug thingys for my 11mth old grandson and he loves it some great finds
I thought Hayley was going to squash that bug. You guys need another booth with all the stuff you keep buying for it.
Ala-gree-a? A-leg-gree-a , I think it’s pronounced. Lol too funny, I love you guys videos. I love all the finds you guys find and how funny you two are! I love the gumball machine lol your buying your own stock too funny! ❤😊 love you guys from Birmingham Alabama
I would be interested in the EPCOT jacket!
If the people that collect payments for your booth will collect stickers, you could do different colored price stickers for house items and general items.
Our bin store provides shopping carts we have flippers that will sit there all day as they bring out new stock in waves like every hour or so
I bought that little colorful slug for my grandson kinda of like a fidget. He plays with it all the time
My daughter has that slug and your so right 😂
I'm not sure how you'll take this but...I really wish you two were my neighbors...Love you two...
Oh no!!
Ok first.. Great boot find....
But. You threw back some mcm brass birds that go on the wall. Those are good! Only the bottom shows in the video. You only looked at it fast. Just wanted you to know.
Test the pool cue to make sure it's not warped. Put it back together and roll it on a flat surface like the floor of your shop. If it wobbles, it's warped. No good.
@@@@ If this cabinet is 21 inches front to back, it's vanity depth, which is not usually considered suitable as a kitchen cabinet. Suggest measure before repair just to make sure it will work !!!!!!
I wish our bins did a half off day! They also charge $6.00 a blanket and $3.50 for shoes! 😬
You know you watch too much of the office when the skeleton’s head falls off and you instantly say “ his capa was detated” 😂
Find a restore on your area. I’ve bout vanities, tile, paint, cheap. Most new, except paint.
Have you checked southern salvage on garner ferry rd cheapest place we found around Columbia for house renovations.
Maybe you could put HF on the price tags for your antique booth
The Hamlet plush is Heart of the Heart and Brain comic by Nick Seljuk (The Awkward Yeti).
Thank you!
Josh, when he first walks in. " I'm not really looking for shoes".
Josh, 5 minutes later. Has a full bag of shoes.😂
Should have kept the painting, great for the booth. I would have bought it!😊😊
how about a dresser repurposed for the vanity
do a butcher block for the top of the new kitchen cabinet. polyurethane it drop a sink in. fairly cheap look very nice. also did you hang the American Flag you found at the flip house several videos ago?
No we sold it
I bought the bathroom vanity, I’m probably in the massive minority here but I think two sinks are overrated unless you have a really long space. Would it be easy easier to find a vanity to fit the space if it only had one sink?
And have you checked Thrifting old buffets/dining room side boards…removing the top and putting in the sink?
With all of the resellers the price’s at goodwill are just going to keep going up it will get to the point people won’t be buying anything too resale then it will get bad quick for resale
Hi there. The brown paper on those paintings signify age. In future, please don't tear it. Thanks.
Josh and Hailey? Hope you check that vase. Some of them are worth thousands especially if made by a potter in Alberta Canada
another great video. keep on hustlin
