most modern games don't even bother checking if the packets came from the game itself so u can easily forge packets lol
Actually books are structured that way that all data about the books are stored in NBT,which includes the pages of the book,the names,who signed it etc.That means that the client just sends raw nbt to overwrite or merge the nbt(idk particularly what)of the book with the received from the client.
EDIT: there was no check for WHAT nbt data to merge/overwrite

Toad apparently it works but with a bigger amount of books, i saw a video of someone doing in in singleplayer 1.14.4 but I'm not sure about servers

I remember this bug.
It’s the top of the list of forgotten MC bugs. Kinda like the Furnace + Sign bug which would create lag generators and crash plot worlds on servers. It was a bug where you could setup between 132 to 164 Furnaces on a plot, then put a sign on the front of each furnace and input the text code to make the sign’s text go all crazy, and then all you do is run a simple minecart chest on a track that runs over hoppers that take coal from the minecart chest and puts it into the furnace. Ahead of time you could just put logs into the furnace to have to smelt something.
As soon as 64 of the furnaces were smelting at once the area around the plot would get massive lag spikes and when it reached maximum smelting it had the ability to crash whole plot servers.
There were mainly created by trolls who wanted to get back at a server for banning their original accounts or something. But at some point Mojang patched whatever caused the lag so it can’t be done anymore.
That's gotta be the most "Unlock Luigi in Super Mario 64" kind of bug I've ever heard. It's highly convoluted and absurd yet unlike those old theories this one apparently worked.

I know older & newer lag generators exist but the Signed Furnace generator was always a favorite of mine because really...whoever came up with it had plenty of time on their hands lol
Most plot worlds back then were very likely survival worlds that you could pay to have creative but since it was mainly trolls who did them they never had creative.
So they had to get around 1k cobblestone, over 300 iron, over 500 wood, and probably at least 1,200 coal lol

Sometimes you've just gotta log on in the morning, and play in the evening. Have your computer just sitting there, patiently waiting. If your internet connection is stable, there shouldn't be an issue.

I'm sure there are hacked clients out there to autorelog onto the server when disconnected. In theory, you could use one of these and just have it running.
Another tactic is *when* you play. Using the information from the Minecraft Servers site...
minecraftservers.org/server/55625
...you can see when the queue is at its lowest.
Another good tactic is when the server resets. These reset points can be seen on the Minecraft Servers site when the player count suddenly dips to zero. When the server resets, it gives you 20 minutes of warning, in the queue *and* on the server. If you constantly try to reconnect for a few minutes while the server is starting back up, you can get on before everyone else. Even if you don't get on the server, you still skip much of the queue.
Of course, there is also priority queue. Although it costs $20 for a month, it skips you past anyone else who is not willing to pay.
If you combine all of these tactics (priority queue would be last result), you should probably be able to get on with ease.

And even if that is what you meant, then there is no excuse to not log onto the server.

I once got some 32ks on a random server like 7 years ago when I got my first laptop and played Minecraft for the first time, I can’t remember the server or like anything about it but I was blown away by the enchantments

I remember when i played on creative plot servers back in the day god items like this would exist but some of them had added speed for somw reason we even had enchantment tables and chests that would kick people when u right clicked on it

I once joined a shitty server together with dort, pol and Aidan, pol managed to get op on the server, while Aidan tried to use this exploit, he kept getting banned xd, he even tried carrying the book in the crafting grid, I also picked it up once on accident and got banned as well, the admins of the server also were very bad at spelling so we had a big laugh with screenshots.

Funny thing, i have the server files cuz Perro tricked them to use our vps and they added the files to the vps. Some days after that I blocked the port 3389 and uploaded the files to transfer.sh XDDDD. Sadly, there was no authme installed at that moment as the server was at a "beta" state. Oh, and I got a Moderator demoted by leaking the server IP (The one from the VPS) in their discord and saying the Mod gave it to me.

I remember back in 2012, people would create 32k enchanted weapons and armor and absolutely broken potions. Some players would do this and try to give them to their friends, immediately getting the items stolen by other players in the vicinity. Those were very fun times.

In early 2013 the exploit was still around, well atleast the effects of the exploit was around on a few servers then. I always wondered how on earth I had those items on a server called iHoneyi.com. I found a base full of 32k enchanted everything. Never lost a pvp match after that lmao.
