@@devo229 You asked the write person. Yesterday I counted 93 people playing. I saw more games being played than ever before. It's nice to see more videos on IR, great job! It's worth noting that bot difficulty is coming in 1.0, launching soon which makes a big difference. I also don't think you realized that you can sprint, click left thumb stick in while running. There's also more systems like augments to customize your mech, more weapons, more mechs and abilities on the mechs. I think more work on introducing players to those will be after launch
Awesome mate and thanks for the comments :) I cant wait to do some more videos on the game as I have lots to learn and share. Man there is so much going on in this game its amazing. Honestly this game is amazing and totally blew my mind.
@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs Yeah it's awesome. There's some really good stuff coming soon and there's plans for post launch updates as well. Exciting stuff
WOW that chair looks amazing. I have just reached out to the company to see if they will send me a unit for review, this game is screaming for that chair :)
Yea mate I have two buttkickers, 1 under my seat and peddle deck. As mentioned in the video though, as I was using the Simhub audio to haptics my motion rig was doing all the work. If you don't have a motion rig you would instead use the buttkickers. Of course you can use both together but Simhub audio to haptics is absolutely mind blowing what it can do.
I've had my Quest 3 since Feb and can't fathom how they don't have a line of peripherals available. Why is no one making high end content except Meta? Because there's no HOTAS or steering wheel for the Quests. There are ZERO good driving games on Quest, because without a wheel it's just not feasible.
@@richpeltier9519 technically all joysticks xould just work plugged into the usb of the quest. its android , if it works on my phone it could work on the quest, but they just do want to.
interesting ..but its only audio to motion .... whats not ideal .... Funnily enough i contacted the developers of iron rebellion recently to ask if they can implement telemetry data in that game for a real motion rig support (which is really no big deal) !!!! one of the devs liked this idea and after a month i asked again and they scrapped the idea because they had no desire to deal with it.... what a shame !!!!
Audio to motion is not full telemetry so that's what I meant by not ideal. The dev's have told me that they might be looking into it, hopefully my video will help push that in the right direction. Man it would be so epic to have actual telemetry for our motion rigs :) thanks for watching mate and appreciate the comments.
Mate I am not sure it would work, you would need to use Simhub as the over all solution. Often these motion software will conflict with each other, the both want to occupy the same COM port. Hope this helps mate :)
Hi~ Thanks for your another great video! Can you help to answer two questions? 1) how is this compare to MW5? 2) can this game support motion simulator with true telemetry data? (instead of driving the motion by controller control, or just vibration) PLEASE! Advise the developer to provide telemetry data support! This is bring these cockpit games much much mover immersive! Thanks a lot!
Amazing mate and thank you for the awesome comments. Its actually mind blowing in comparison to graphics, MW5 can look pretty Mine Craft unless you run a heap of mods, with mods though they are pretty equal. Out of the box, the graphics and map level design is amazing in Iron Rebellion. Ok now in comparison to controls. If you have a full HOTAS setup like I have and a full motion rig, MW5 wins hands down, however its really a very different game, you are unable to interact with the cockpit at all, so the HOTAS in VR in a simrig is absolutely essential. In Iron Rebellion, you can play this in the lounge room with your feet up lol.....its insane. The fact you can actually interact with the whole cockpit is mind blowing. If they ever added HOTAS support to Iron Rebellion.....WOW, they would have the most insane combination for me anyway, however they in cockpit interactions would be really hard to control. In a nutshell they are really two different games although looking similar. Oh and I have been in touch with the devs and they know that telemetry for motion is needed. Hopefully they can work on this soon. Thanks for watching and the awesome comments.
Mate the rig it Trakracer, motion system is Eracing Labs. I have a tone of gear installed on this rig, all up so you can fly planes, space, drive cars, and ride motor bikes hahaha, 25K, that includes the PC. @@eriksusanyi1297 I mean, it's not released and the devs have just started heavy marketing for it. I got out of several full matches this week, it's awesome. But you're right that there needs to be more players. I'm hoping the new PvE updates with the leaderboard and other stuff coming helps with that
Last time I played it, it took a bit but the bots got replaced by players, this was a few months ago before the patch that added new mechs and I think weapons and stuff, which I really hoped would bring new players to the game
I was very clear that I am running SSW in Virtual Desktop. I was actually getting 80FPS however because of this it was reporting 40 which is not actually correct.

I fold up my right arm rest, to make it easier to aim down. Left arm rest makes a nice spot for left hand, since you don't move that around.
What a cool idea, and yea you are right that you really need your right arm free to move.
