It’s honestly very enlightening listening to a guy like Ryan Leaf talk. A guy who had a lot of self issues during his career and personal life turn everything around and become a great analyst and speaker for a game we all know and love

I grew up a charger fan and he was drafted when I was in high school. When he fell off I don't think I ever hated a guy so much. Older me doesn't get why I had so much hate for a guy I never met. But glad he's doing well in his post NFL life.

Man I really love the transparency of Leaf. It's so refreshing. He needs his own show. So many people in media are fake and don't show their true selves. It's so apparent and obvious. Hard to watch that long term. I could watch Leaf long term easy.

add accuracy to that list and I don't care about the rest. If you can think clear, read the defense and throw it where you want it I don't care if you got a weak arm or small hands. Drew brees threw a lot of TD's not being able to throw more than 50 yards.

Everyone calls Leaf the "biggest bust" in NFL history but is he really? He was a very good college QB but I don't recall anyone saying he could be the greatest of all time, or that he was the next Montana, Elway, Marino etc. You didn't get half the hype back then that these kids do now. There have been plenty of exceptional college players that were better than Leaf and were bigger busts, or as big of busts, as Leaf was. I think the media is a little unfair to him at times, but he takes in stride, owns his mistakes and is trying to be the best human being he can be. At the end of the day, that's all anyone can do.

I can't believe hand size is viewed as relevant at all in any capacity. Whichever moron determined the size of someone's hand can be quantified and measured in any useful capacity, as it relates to the game of football, should be excommunicated. Granted there are obvious situations like if someone has extremely small hands, but Pickett has normal hands. Literally they are normal for his size.
