      @cmartin973 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@joemcclellan8115 But it's not that in this case. The NFL admitted there was a mistake and paid out a settlement because of it. It WAS the fact that they underscored some black players (for certain, possibly all) to put them at a baseline lower than what their actual cognitive ability is. Urlacher can be correct and say people try to abuse the system, the same as people do in every other aspect of life, but this isn't an either or. It was admitted that this was done and it's not just a case of people making false claims.

    I have one tiny quibble - What Kraft did was not a coerced event, and that we even know about it was from an illegal video taping by a rogue police sting. Please don't equate that with some of the other, more valid comparisons to Watson's acts.

    I disagree with most but not all of it. I'm guessing 95% +/- NFL players were smashing helmets from peewee, HS and college. To say the NFL is responsible for not reminding grown men that it's unhealthy for 2 enormous humans to crash head first into each other repeatedly is ridiculous.
    Now... If the NFL or teams knew certain players had head injuries and allowed them to keep playing, that's a different story.
