As some of you may know, I'm in the process of restoring my 1985 Porsche 924 NA model. I decided to capture this small demo while working on the engine rebuild, as I don't see a lot of people talking about soda blasting. I wish I had money for a vapor blaster, but soda will do for now. More videos coming soon.
    Thank you for watching!

    Thanks for making helpful videos!!
    Question:
Why use "regular" baking soda when specialty soda media is a buck a pound? In my area, that is far cheaper than food grade soda, and specialty soda bkast media works far better, due to granular size.

Thanks! Because I can find that in my local store 2min from my workshop.

Great to see the 924 back on the channel. Baking soda did not damage the camshaft bearings ?

Thanks! Soda is pretty safe, plenty of people using it for cylinder heads.
