So sweet! How she immediately dropped to the floor in tears, it was like watching a little girl get surprised for her birthday with a puppy! Even as adults, puppies can still bring out that happiness and joy inside all of us that we sometimes suppress over the year’s.

A person who genuinely cares and sheds tears for animals is without a doupt a fantastic one.
We lost our beloved 12 yr old Golden just 3 months ago, and if someone surprised me like this, I would also drop to the floor and start sobbing. They bring you the greatest joys and then the worst of pain when you have to say goodbye. Even during your darkest days, it's always worth that extra special Golden love.

The day I got my Goldie was the third happiest day of my life. My sons are 1 and 2. 8 years later we still rock the park. So glad you enjoyed your Christmas surprise. It gets really happy from hear.
Reminds me of me when my sister surprised the family with a kitten after our previous cat past away. I was just walking by the hall, wasnt long ago she passed so it was a big hole where she used to be. My mother explained we will eventually get a new cat but I figured none would be special like her. Sure she hissed at guests and once chased my friend around the house but she was very loving. I was walking down the hall and past my sisters room and I heard her say my name, when I turned she was on her bed with a new kitten. I went over to pet and meet the newest family member. I just remember crying and not knowing why. He filled the hole my other cat left and she would be proud of her replacement. His name is Axel and he is a family cat and I mean it. He can't stand being alone. If we all go upstairs and he would come out into the living room and my parents arent on the couch he would meow so loud nonstop. When the folks are on the couch he goes to his spot on the top of the couch, what's cute is he takes turns sitting behind their heads. He'd sit behind my mother then get up and move over to my dad. He and I are close. I thought i'd never get a special cat again and figured it'd probably be a mean cat or just a normal cat but I guess God liked to show off by putting Axel into my life.
To this day he's still a loving member of the family. Although he kiiiiinda resents my sister for abandoning him with a new cat she got. At least that's what I joke about. Her excuse being he chose me as his human XD

I used to sell goldena. It was so satisfying and gratifying to sell a good puppy to families. Especially with children! I have made lots of people cry!!!
Dogs are life-changing. The best thing we've ever done as parents, was adopt a dog from a shelter for our daughter. The impact and sheer joy added to her life by making that one decision, can't be put into words.
