Not healthy for a puppy to sit in a small space all day. They should run around and play.
@@ckush928i think it will be okay for a day...also it's most likely in a small enclosure for most of the day at the shelter. i recommend going to a shelter and adopting one if it bugs you so much! yes, puppies should be able to run free, but so should most dogs and cats in shelters. the puppy will be just fine

This is probably such great human socialization for the puppy! So many puppies struggle with this nowadays since they grew up during the pandemic and they experience such severe separation anxiety and social anxiety around people as a result :( But this puppy is gonna be a total rockstar socializer! Great to see how much it brightened people’s day too!

The only concern would be controlling the critter; I mean, could you imagine if your pup bolted out because they saw a squirrel in a busy part of downtown?

@@Kurayamiblack what you put in is what your get out. Dogs are a big responsibility and require a lot of proper training and reinforcement throughout their lives. Saying that they’re called mans best friend for a reason, they will be your best friend
@@Kurayamiblack Dogs are absolutely a lot of work. They will grow to reflect the behaviors you instill in them, be they good or bad. That said, they are the most loyal and unbelievable creatures on Earth, the joy you give them just by being around them is its own reward.

In all seriousness, it would make my day. Dogs, especially puppies, just cheer me up at the sight of them, and they’re so loving. Wish drivers around the country I lived would do this from time to time 😅

This is actually perfect to do with your puppy: Getting it used to being around other people + riding in the car, both at the same time.
My puppy Shepard did ONE trip without puking in the car. That was the first, and longest trip she'd ever been on. After that, I can't go 3km with her in the car without having a mess to clean up. :(
Absolutely, I learned that lesson years ago. You have to really work at properly socializing most pets otherwise they can get very stressed around strangers. Dogs are a bit easier, but unsocialized cats can end up hiding and being scared of everyone that they aren't familiar with.

Except it’s expressly against Uber and Lyft’s TOS for drivers to have pets in the car since people can be allergic. The only dogs that are allowed are registered service dogs. If someone were to report him for having a dog, either because they’re allergic or just don’t like dogs, his account would be deactivated.
I have dogs. I always wish I could bring them with me when I drive Lyft on the weekend. It’s not worth the risk.

AWWW. That is SO SWEET. Good way to socialize the dog as a youngster. The only thing I would be cautious of is bedbugs, of people traveling internationally to/from airports and you probably gave a heads up to people who might be allergic. :)

@@MrSundaynighttt controlling emotions isn't exactly weak, it's helpful in certain situations especially when logical things needs to get done, but in a car ride with a puppy you don't have to do that.
letting yourself relax, being vulnerable and openly be soft and loving isn't a weakness. It's a strength tbh, to let down your guard like that, especially when society has been telling men that purely keeping your emotions in is a way to 'man up' and 'be a man'.

@Tmc hmm i have 2 brothers, one who prefers to hold in everything first then release it once we're home, and that works perfectly for him; my other bro is much more emotional and holding emotions in just doesnt work... it just gets him more upset & distressed. he's actually in a better state of mind when he openly expresses what he feels.
i think it depends from person to person, but to the guys who are more like my 2nd bro, they should know that it's alright to not always suck it up if it's causing more harm to themselves than helping them

What a fantastic way to boost hour likes and tips! Puppies, and just plain friendly, happy and cute dogs will always make most people smile. That will brighten their moods, and also help you with better reviews, and better tips.
I'd not recommend using kittens/cats though. They are very complex, fickle, and finicky fur babies, and very judgemental. They will look at someone, then decide whether to cuddle, ignore, or hiss and claw. Also, as with drunk women fighting; same goes with cats. Never intervene in a catfight, cause then everyone ends up in a hospital or jail, or both.
I got into an Uber once, I was running late to school, I had missed the bus and the uber driver had with him this yorkie who was his emotional support dog(I think?)and he told me she LOVES people. So as soon as I got in and saw the dog, she bounced right over to me and sat on my lap all the way to school, looking out the window, licking my hand. Just loving the attention I was giving her because how could I resist not petting her?! lol He got five stars. lol

If so, you, should make this a permanent thing, just pick up, puppy's from shelters from time to time and drive around with them, you'll get more money, people will be happy cause they saw a puppy, some puppy's might get adopted (maybe by the customers, or maybe they mention to their friends how they saw the cutest puppy on their lyft ride and then their friends will adopt the puppy...) (if you find a shelter who's willing to, partner with you, of course. What do you think?

One of the cutest things a little dog can do, is when they lay down and tuck their paws in like at 0:20. My doggo(Rest in Paradise Reksu) used to do it all the time! Melts your heart!

Lol that's like my dad. Years ago my mom picked up a kitten that seemed lost around the neighborhood during a storm. We kept it until we found the owner or someone who wanted it. We kept it in our bathroom that had a lot of space.
When Mom first told Dad, he was not happy at all. But we can hear him talking in a baby voice whenever he had to use the shower 😂
