I owned a 1956 Model Norton Dominator 99. It was a very smooth twin with lovely very steady torque through acceleration. Notice the lack of vibration on this machine. It was a beautiful motorcycle all around. Wish I still had it, I do have a 1953 Norton ES2 500 single, another story but a great machine, too!
I had the same bike , the same year in 1962 .It would do the ton easily and quite often ! It cost me £85 to buy and I was only earning £5 per week at the time !
Yes its still for sale , mechanically it is very good I would probably sort out the wiring and maybe a new front brake cable , the shoes have been changed so should improve with use.

What is wrong with the wiring ? Does it need a new loom ?
