I did my apprenticeship in a Suzuki/Kawasaki dealer. I was always amazed by how small and light these were. The Katana wasn't great on twisty roads. It could do 140 mph, though, in a straight line.
I'm old enough to remember these sitting in the dealership. It also sold Suzuki and BMW. British bikes looked amazing. I couldn't talk my older brother into buying one though. He did buy a Beemer though.
My next door neighbor in the US has a '73 T150 triple. Something magical about early British bikes. Have a few HD's and Japanese 4 bangers in the garage. Would love this as it's buddy. Beautiful. Thanks gents.
I had the the exact same bike even down to having the rubber knee pads removed from the tank, loved it and always regretted selling it.
me too welder XFE 480S,beautiful bike ,never leaked a drop but couldn’t afford to keep it when my daughters were born.
Lovely and light, perfect for roads neither straight, wide or level.

Late British bike
Anyone know how many Jubilee models made
@@rodneygunn788 Any British bike made in the 70's is not late manufacture. 1st gen., not this stuff made currently. Early. wouldn't ride a new one.
£5.6k sounds pretty reasonable to me.
An absolute bargain when compared to the 250. I preferred the teardrop tank on aesthetic grounds.
Dreambike🤩👍🏻.
Blue looks lighter than l remember?
I'd not noticed before that they reverted to chrome clutch and brake levers.
Sadly, these were going for this price ten years ago.
They aren't making any more Boomers like us. 😂
Kids want a silver Jubilee video game.
You need a congestion charge for the yard. I hope all these cars and vans are minding the potholes. Nice bike, sounds great.
Check out my 1973 Bonneville, somewhat modified So Cal style: th-cam.com/video/ip6rU0z54YU/w-d-xo.html
Regal!!
Not a fan of the jubilee paint scheme myself. Wasnt at the time. But it's a sweet sounding bike
