I'm not sure if you might've already figured it out but, Murders is infact NOT a Tally Hall song. it is from another album made by Joe Hawley, the album's named Hawaii Part ii It does feature a few people from Tally Hall if im correct, but this was made after Tally Hall broke up ( I might have to look that last part up, but 99% sure thays right)
Yeah, I'm not that deep into Tally Hall, but I kept seeing Hawaii: Part II showing up around other Tally Hall stuff that I ended up assuming they were the same group. Which, looking more into it, it was made after Tally Hall broke up, every member but Andrew had some part in it, but it's not Tally Hall. Whoops! My bad,
I always get jumpscared when I see chonny mentioned anywhere else lol Anyways great video :] I’m not that good at putting my feelings on things I’m enthusiastic about into an eloquent form so it’s nice to hear others do it!
I like to imagine Chonny’s mueic as reimaginings of these classic tunes, seeing as he often flips the entire feeling of the song on its head even if he doesn’t change the lyrics.
The entire first half of the video was an in depth call out of my music tastes and the rest makes me admire the musician and want to listen to his stuff _so I know whats on my to-do list now!_

IM SO GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY MENTIONED COSMO SHELDRAKE HES AWESOME I also love tally hall, miracle musical, I kinda like will wood though very selective with his songs, I’ve only ever heard Charlie’s inferno but it’s awesome, and I love Chonny jashes covers. I’m so glad to FINALLY find someone to share my music taste. A new music artist I’d suggest is Jorge Rivera-Herrans, responsible for Epic: the musical and he’s AMAZING
Was watching this in my brothers room and as soon cosmos name was heard he just went “YEAHHHH” out loud. He kept on freaking out because you just listed out all his favorite artist lol.
not literally 4 songs that have been in my playlists for forever omfg i just saw the moss and was like i wonder what the other 4 songs are on here and its literally just my spotify wrapped 2022
I know exactly what those 4 songs have in common: They are in my liked songs in Spotify. Other great introductions to each band would be: That Handsome Devil - Savages Tally Hall - Ruler of Everything Cosmo Sheldrake - Come along Will Wood - Laplace's Angel And yeah, seeing how we coincide in music taste I'm definitely gonna give Chonny a listen.
Ooo, so you're one of the few here who finding Chonny out of this! Cool! Part of the reason I recommended the ones I did was to have something kind of popular and then a song I personally really enjoyed! But, even then, all of them have so many great songs. Every single one you've listed here are all fantastic in their own right!
I recommend Madilyn Mei, if you're still looking for music recommendations. Particularly "Kleptomaniacrow" and "Partner In Crime", both of which I love.
They all have that weird edgy not edgy kinda indie vibe and sound to them. Like THERE ARE NOT A LOT, IF NOT, NOT ANY OTHER ARTISTS THAT HAVE THE SAME SOUND. Each one of them have their own sound but still fit in the same category, they all express the story that they want to express so clearly it’s one of my favorite genres of music
I just flat out wasn't expecting to see all of these songs and artists in a single video. Oddly enough, it wasn't even these songs that drew me into each artist. It wasn't even from the same source that I started listening to them! I didn't even register the connection because while I've seen Chonny Jash in my recommended list before, I've never clicked on one of their videos! I think it's just absolutely fascinating that even with how different all of these artists are, a lot of people tend to listen to them in tandem. Wonderful video, I didn't know this was a phenomenon, thank you.
Personally, I listened to all of these groups separately and then found Jash during his early Tally Hall days. But, it's crazy to me that all of them seem to come together as a genre, I guess? I mean some people have suggested the thing in common would be that they're all gay or neurodivergent music???? Which, I mean, I guess???? Simply being gay/neurodivergent surpasses all genres
yeah, sorry, yeah ISAT isn't technically relevant, but when you spend a month and a half making a 86 minute video about ISAT (and Limbus Company) you get to go to the next level of brain rot hey, maybe, you should check that video out? it's my second last upload or here's a link! th-cam.com/video/44563dVNVPw/w-d-xo.html if you do give it a watch, let me know what you think!
I've read through every comment on this video, and it took till now there's like 3 people mentioning the Toontown Corporate Clash music! It's a great game! Maybe someone should talk about it... (I don't know if that's me)
YES I LOVE COSMO SMMMMM- no one I know knows him and he’s SO outside of my usual music taste (usually a grunge and thrash/nu metal girl) he’s been one of my favourite artists for so long and also one of my biggest inspirations in terms of lyrics and music. Wriggle, Come Along, Tardigrade Song, Solar Waltz, Pliocene, and Axolotl are all favourite songs of mine
Oh, thanks for the rec on The Handsome Devil, I listened to them and they're awesome. Jash is great. I found him through the mind electric remake and love what he makes overall. Great musician.
Will say as someone who's been an avid listener to That Handsome Devil, lots of their old albums give that same satisfaction of Charlies Inferno. But in my opinion, feel more thoroughly written. Other artists that have that same vibe if THD are Tub Ring, Grand Commander, Nick Lutsko and just a bit of Jhariah and Shayfer James. All on Spotify, please give them a try :)
I was hoping some one would make a video about these guys, their music is amazing to listen to and I even made a playlist similar to this video a year ago. I’m glad to see these guys getting some recognition for their awesome work.
I love Chonny jash!! They give such a new meaning to cover to where I don’t know if it even count for the original meaning, but I love it. His series following multiple songs by tally hall through his three characters, heart, mind, and soul is again, amazing. “Spring and a storm” by tally hall has meant so much to me and I’ve drawn up tattoo designs with the lyrics that I plan to have done one day, in both versions jash covers, he keeps the “we have so much left to sing” which has always been the most impactful line to me. I love the dissection of their music, because the praise is warranted, but seeing how jash keeps and trades and changes for narrative purposes constantly, but not only keeps that line, puts HEAVY emphasis on it, and covered it twice with two different characters singing, leads me to believe they might have a similar connection to mine to the song. Id love to be Able to make music like that, just to spend time and deconstruct and reconstruct the elements to spend time with the art, he’s such a wonderful artist and I’m glad we get to share his way of re-contextualizing music with the world. It’s so awesome.
I was so happy seeing Cosmo Sheldrake and Will Wood on the thumbnail!! I was wondering if you’ve ever heard of The Amazing Devil or Fish In A Birdcage? Or maybe Shayfer James? I think one of them at least will be up your alley. I have a lot of recommendations but I don’t often find people who likes that type of music 😭
Hell might as well list a few more. Sea Wolf San Fermin Junie & TheHutFriends Crane Wives Pim Stone (he only has one song but its a banger) Autoheart Gregory and The Hawk Phemiec (specifically their album, songs for girls in love)
AH. These were the tracks I listened to a while ago. And yes my music taste changes constantly. I shall now replay my old spotify playlist. Great video, keep it up!

Can we talk about how Chonny's """cover""" of Mucka Blucka is a huge love letter to Tally Hall fans?? Cuz it's fucking AMAZING
I didn't get to mention it in the video, but two others of my favorite Jash covers are "Mucka Blucka" and "Dream"
Both of them are just so good!
I'm not sure if you might've already figured it out but, Murders is infact NOT a Tally Hall song. it is from another album made by Joe Hawley, the album's named Hawaii Part ii
It does feature a few people from Tally Hall if im correct, but this was made after Tally Hall broke up ( I might have to look that last part up, but 99% sure thays right)
yeah, no, this is right
Yeah, I'm not that deep into Tally Hall, but I kept seeing Hawaii: Part II showing up around other Tally Hall stuff that I ended up assuming they were the same group. Which, looking more into it, it was made after Tally Hall broke up, every member but Andrew had some part in it, but it's not Tally Hall. Whoops! My bad,
despite being a huge chonny fan i didnt realise what this video was going to be about, currently VERY pleasantly surprised
I always get jumpscared when I see chonny mentioned anywhere else lol
Anyways great video :] I’m not that good at putting my feelings on things I’m enthusiastic about into an eloquent form so it’s nice to hear others do it!
someone with this type of music taste (THE best music taste) (ever) having less than 1k subscribers is mind boggling to me, insanely underrated
fun fact: before this video exploded in views, I was right under 400!
i dont know why this is happening, help, im drowning in comments
TRUEST
the realization suddenly dawned on my when I heard "Johnny Cash" I was so taken by surprise lol
I like to imagine Chonny’s mueic as reimaginings of these classic tunes, seeing as he often flips the entire feeling of the song on its head even if he doesn’t change the lyrics.
3:37 I wasn’t expecting to hear you mentioned unreleased stuff
I love that one a lot
i clicked on to this video becasue i could recognize all the album covers
CHONNY JASH MENTION I. BROKE DOWN CRYING THIS VIDEO MADE ME SO HAPPY?! IT'S SO COOL TO SEE PEOPLE GIVING CJ RECOGNITION RAHBHHH
The entire first half of the video was an in depth call out of my music tastes and the rest makes me admire the musician and want to listen to his stuff
_so I know whats on my to-do list now!_
Just wanna say:
Chonny’s Good Day cover hits even harder when you know what’s going on in that album and what happened to that specific character
Also
THAT CHONNY JASH JUMPSCARE AAAAAAAAA
hell yeah chonny jash!!! i saw this on my reccomendations, and i knew it was gonna be about chonny the moment i saw the thumbnail, i’m very obsessed right now. but yeah, i like the points you make in this video, it reminds me of why i actually like chonny’s music so much, besides just the cool sound and covering songs i like.
oh shoot, did someone actually figure it out? and just from the thumbnail? Congrats!
I wasn't actually sure anyone would get it, since my 'test subject' (LanCon) only got it after a few guesses.
Thanks for the kind words!
@@Pan.Gaming i’m just on another level of brainrot lol, i saw cosmo, thd, tally hall, and will wood and i knew chonny covered all of them so i immediately guessed it, also ur welcome!!!
How did I find this channel that shares a lot of the same niche interests as me. I love it.
cosmo sheldrake, tally hall, that handsome devil and will wood!?!? legit some of my favorite artists
CHONNY JASH!!?!? im commenting as i watch the video
JASH JUMPSCARE
fascinated by how you used the twisted doctor animation video for memento mori
I looked at the thumbnail and I was like "oh haha those are people Chonny Jash has covered"
I. May have hurt my leg with how hard I was hitting it when I realized that was actually where you were going with it and I wasn’t going crazy
COSMO SHELDRAKE MENTIONED 🔥‼️🗣🔥‼️🔥🗣🔥‼️‼️🔥🗣🔥🗣🔥‼️🔥🗣🔥🗣 WTF IS A NORMAL BEAT‼️🔥🔥🗣‼️🔥‼️🗣‼️🗣🔥🗣🔥‼️
IM SO GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY MENTIONED COSMO SHELDRAKE HES AWESOME
I also love tally hall, miracle musical, I kinda like will wood though very selective with his songs, I’ve only ever heard Charlie’s inferno but it’s awesome, and I love Chonny jashes covers.
I wouldn't be talking about artists if they weren't good!!!
not literally 4 songs that have been in my playlists for forever omfg i just saw the moss and was like i wonder what the other 4 songs are on here and its literally just my spotify wrapped 2022
COSMO, WILL WOOD, TALLY HALL AND CHONNY JASH MENTIONED!? HELL YEAH
I LOVE THAT HANDSOME DEVIL FINALLYYYY SOMEONE ELSE LISTENS TO HIM!!!
YESSSS SAMMEEEEEE
They're performing in NYC on March 23rd, 2024 if you're in the area.
Damn was not expecting a Jash jumpscare but do have to agree with it
I know exactly what those 4 songs have in common:
They are in my liked songs in Spotify.
Other great introductions to each band would be:
That Handsome Devil - Savages
Tally Hall - Ruler of Everything
Cosmo Sheldrake - Come along
Will Wood - Laplace's Angel
And yeah, seeing how we coincide in music taste I'm definitely gonna give Chonny a listen.
One sec, this video gave me a nureogasam. I'm currently flying in the clouds of the biggest tism high ever
Bro I saw like 3 of my favorite artists in the thumbnail and did not even hesitate
the way I freaked the fuck out when I heard the multislackers theme
I'm sorry if you have Multislacker trauma. He's just a funny little guy!!!
@@Pan.Gamingi got so excited i almost threw up it was a good freak the fuck out
They're all in my playlist
I was like: hey, Chonny Jash did a cover of that song.... WAIT
5:55 IN STARS AND TIME JUMP-SCARE WHAT THE HELL???
yeah, sorry, yeah ISAT isn't technically relevant, but when you spend a month and a half making a 86 minute video about ISAT (and Limbus Company) you get to go to the next level of brain rot
hey, maybe, you should check that video out? it's my second last upload or here's a link! th-cam.com/video/44563dVNVPw/w-d-xo.html
if you do give it a watch, let me know what you think!
@@Pan.Gaming "yeah, sorry," my friend you should not be sorry I am absolutely ecstatic also great video I think it was very good
Very off topic but OH MY GOD THE TOONTOWN MUSIC AT THE START OH MY!!!!!!!
IS THIS AN COSMO SHELDRAKE MENCION???
OMG COSMO SHELDRAKE I LOVE HIM
i think its chonny jash
WOOO I GOT IT
Woah it's weird that Pan listens to music how does he do that
Spotify’s algorithm is how I discovered most of these so they must have something in common
Cosmo sheldrake is one of my all time favorite artist he’s so talented
I love the fact that every album/artist is one that I know
Oh, thanks for the rec on The Handsome Devil, I listened to them and they're awesome.
And yes I’m also talking about chonny
I got jumpscared by the slimecicle mention lmao. (hes funny you should watch some clips!)
recognized those album covers and clicked faster than i ever have lol, i love all these underrated artists so much
I’ve finally found someone else who is a fan of Will wood tallyhall and Cosmo
god i love chonny jash's music, this really describes it super well and you didnt even TOUCH on the chaos compedium and its lore
Why is this video just entirely music I love
God you really just said some of my favorite songs to listen to! 😊
Chonny was a pleasant surprise!!! I’m so happy his works are receiving coverage! Good upload man 👌👌👌
When I was looking at the cover I jokingly thought Chonny Jash, but I was like, “no one knows him”.
It’s so awesome.
i did NOT expect chonny jash, but hoo here we are
I was so happy seeing Cosmo Sheldrake and Will Wood on the thumbnail!!
Sea Wolf
San Fermin
Junie & TheHutFriends
Crane Wives
Pim Stone (he only has one song but its a banger)
Autoheart
Gregory and The Hawk
Phemiec (specifically their album, songs for girls in love)
AH. These were the tracks I listened to a while ago. And yes my music taste changes constantly. I shall now replay my old spotify playlist. Great video, keep it up!
i love all of these artists, thats what they have in common
murders is related to tally hall due to joe hally but its a miracle musical song
I was pleasantly surprised when I realized this was about big man CJ
JASHSCARED!!!! I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THIS IN MY RECCS :3
Na what they all have I common is that there in my playlist
Im glad to know I'm not the only one with 800+ songs (very legally) downloaded
Jashes covers are always so peak
I absolutely love your Video essays! I love all of these music creators and I never even noticed the covers. I love to hear ya talk about things you’re interested in, and you make me want to start making video essays. Great job man
Well the good news is that's all I'm planning on doing: Whatever I'm interesting in talking about!
And while making video is a TON of work (it take me about an hour of work for a minute of editing. just editing. not script writing and recording.), I think they can be quite fun to do! It's easy, for me at least, to get into an hours long groove of editing.
Thanks for the comment!
the thing in common: i love all of these artists
CHONNY JASH MENTION 🗣🗣🗣🗣🔥🗣🔥🔥🗣🔥🗣
I love how chonny jash fans flock to any mention of him like their life depends on it
i dont know where you people are coming from, help im drowning in comments
WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THAT HANDSOME DEVIL IN THE COMMENTS, BEST MUSIC
Charlie's inferno, viva discordia, money is the symbol for love, rob the prez-o-dent, list goes on
Chonny's Cover of Memento Mori feels like a Resentful letter to life and its creator, I love it, anyways thank you for the artist recomendation!
YOU COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW FAST I CLICKED THE SECOND I SAW COSMO SHELDRAKE
The four songs are all in one of my playlists, that’s what
