Thanks so much for watching! If you are interested in finding out more info about St Peter Port I have a whole playlist all about it: th-cam.com/play/PLgfR64_vRGksl7Kpdf6K8yh6nMkhrfckT.html
6.02, the shop on the right of the Body Shop I think was a camera shop and upstairs was a brilliant record shop run by Alan and Betty. I'd spend weekdays listening to John Peel, then Saturdays I went to Alan and Betty's and order some very obscure music. They could always get hold the records too. Also, that entrance around 14.00 I think was where they printed the Guernsey Press, many years ago. There was a CO-OP somewhere around there too. I remember the Red Onion location when Brian Elvis ran a Karaoke bar there!
Wow in all the years I lived in Guernsey (born and bred there) I never did that walk. When we reached the Court House I thought yes of course now I know where we are and down to High Street again. Interesting walk Ross thank you.
👍 Thank you Ross, great little walk around...looks like a lot of renovation and maintenance going on... I assume the empty shops are the consequences of the covid lockdown ... @4:56, no Friday market 😔
Fascinating Ross ! - sad to see Guernsey computers have gone - used to have buy IT equipment from them when I visited. Also the shop that sold the bars of fudge (I think it was an off licence as well), enjoyed my visits - thanks for the reminder !
Loved my first visit this past summer. This walk up was so delightful to revisit my glorious experience. You are a blessed lad indeed! Family research on LeLievre/Vibert ancestors accomplished.
KOI KOI is a nice pub/ eatery. The cherry tree in full bloom inside gives it an outdoorsy atmosphere. I went there on my first "real night" on the island. Good times! Thanks for the run down, Ross.

Looks like a livable town, we're driving and coming to visit in August . The ferry is so expensive, hope there's seafood. Thanks 😊

When I first came to the island, there used to be a Burger King. Too bad lot of the old pubs and cafe's have gone now.
Nice walk Ross! Min 12:20 "not sure what that is" - I would think its the back of the court building?
Great vídeo, I'm brazilian, thanks
So surreal watching this and just randomly seeing myself pop up in the video hahaha

It was 98 99 I was in Guernsey it's amazing how much the town shops have changed, but Dix Neuf is still going strong.
