You are the best example that gear doesn't matter, what matter is the vision of who is behind the camera. You using a very (old) camera and the shittiest Fuji lens ever made (according to experts) and nailing complicated (multilayered) images. Look like you upgrade your vision instead of your gear. Well Eduardo, I think you are one of the best "new kid in the block".
Your comment was so flattering that I had to pin it to the top of the video so that maybe influences other people’s opinion too haha.
Thanks for your comment and support. I’m glad you enjoy my work.
Cheers from Argentina!
@@eortizfoto Don't thank me, I thank you. Any plan to go to Cuba in the near future?
Cheers from Canada!
@@belaacs5238 cuba is one of those places I really wanna visit someday but also feel that’s a bit cliche for street photography. So many people went and did amazing work there. And for now it’s way out of my budget too to be honest haha
@@eortizfoto Well, cliches everywhere, Portugal, India, China, Japan, where ever you go photographers littering the world with pointless cliche photographs, but a few people can make cliches meaningful. Good luck with your financial!
We all have better gear posibilities than all the previous masters, that must tell us something...
Man what a place! Gotta visit! Love the video
You definitely should! And now due to the exchange rate is crazy cheap. Let me know if you come I have some tips for you. Cheers!
Gosh, please come!!!!
Brilliant POV as usual! Can’t wait to visit this place in winter! 😊
Please do! If you need any advice about Buenos Aires I’m here!
You're so right I had similar experience the other day.wasnt feeling it at all so I just went around not worrying just looking then with some patients got a couple of photos.
It's not about just the photography just going out feeling positive out and about is the main thing.
Yeah! Photography is a journey, we shouldn’t be obsessed with results. Better just enjoy the art by itself.
IMO you're one of the best street photographers I've seen for ages.thanks for your tips 👍
Wow, thanks a million!
I don’t know if I deserve that title. Just trying my best to keep learning and improving little by little every day.
Best regards!
Phenomenal work as always, I’m sure I’ll be coming back to this one again!
I’m glad you like my work and find something useful out of it! Cheers bro
Great stuff. Thanks so much for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The return of the king!
Haha yeah!! It’s been a while!… thanks for passing by
I'm learning street photography and your videos have been the best source of practical information on layering in composition. I hope your channel will thrive
What a beautiful journey you’re getting then. Enjoy the art of photography and don’t follow trends. I’m glad the videos I do are a good source of knowledge to you. Best regards from Argentina.
great content as always! I also love your post processing. What do you usually do on LR to make these photos pop but not oversaturate? keep up!
Hi there!
Well I don’t do heavy editing. Mainly use curves on capture one. I think you feel that colours pop more due to the relationships between then than actually some special lut or so.
Great pictures! Definitely makes me want to come visit.
Go for it! It's an amazing place and super cheap now due to the exchange rate. Cheers
Love the images!
Thanks for watching!
Great commentary and images.
So nice to know you enjoyed it!
Another great video!
Glad you like them! Cheers from Buenos Aires
I love the Xpro 2! Very cool pictures!
Thanks for watching! I love my xpro2 too. Mine is beaten like a street dog and keeps working flawlessly.
Voy este 1ero de Enero a Baires. Gran video. Suscrito!
Disfruta BA! Ahora hace un calorazo si
Was amazing brother.
Thanks a ton!!! Coming from you this is really flattering. Love your work too
Do you shoot manual or do you use shutter/aperture priority? I feel like currently I wouldn't be fast enough with manual to shoot in this style (Which I've evidently practised very little of).
It's wonderful to see your POV and hear your thought process at the same time. You are an inspiration and I hope to see more of these videos as well as your work :)
I only shoot manual. I much prefer to have full control of my camera than let it decide for me. It’s a matter of getting used to. Practice makes perfect! And thanks for watching!
Nice work, Eduardo! What colour settings are you using in-camera? ✌
I shoot raw and edit the files on capture one. Thanks for watching
@@eortizfoto Hehe, yeah, obviosuly; but are you shooting in, for example, the Velvia profile to preview a more saturated colour scheme or do you prefer the OVF? ✌
@@JerryAdam ahh well I use both depending on the situation. When there’s plenty of light I use the OVF. I shoot in PROVIA and use it as starting point to edit.
@@eortizfoto Ah, okay; cheers for the quick reply!
My wife and I will be visiting Argentina this year. Just like you I love street photography, but i was wondering if it's safe to take my good camera or should i take a less expensive camera?
I think you should bring a less expensive one or a small one at least. I used an xpro2, but I’m technically a local in South America, I speak the language and know how to take care of myself. There are some neighbourhood you should avoid completely and others you should avoid in the night. Also have in mind that Argentina is going through a really rough period.
@eortizfoto Thanks a lot for your reaction! I'm doing my research so we can have a pleasant vacation. Great channel, by the way, I had to subscribe!
Let me know if you need any advice bud, have a lovely time!
@6:27 is there a print of this for sale? wow
we can make it happen! :)
usas alguna simulación?
Si, pero solo como puntos de partida en Capture One. Sobretodo Provia, Astia y Velvia. Solo saco fotos en RAW por cierto.
