  • High Protein Healthy Snacks For On The Go | Body Recomposition
    In this video I will give you my top 8 easy high protein healthy snacks for on the go eating. Instead of grabbing fast food or hitting up the vending machine, having healthy snacks that are high protein in your bag, car, or desk can help you stay in your calorie deficit or achieve your body recomposition goals. Many of the high protein low calorie snacks I mention are from Costco Canada, but I’m sure are available in the US as well.

    HI - these are all great! thank you. If I may add, one of my go-to high protein snacks are the tuna pouches. They come in all kinds of different flavors and also in salmon, chicken, or pulled pork! About $1/$1.50 each at Walmart!

    May I suggest you weigh the turkey, I bought the same slices and 2 slices doesn’t equal the 73 g and therefore not the amount of protein it says. I weigh and portion out the 73g( I believe it’s 73 or 75g) and I’m sure to have the amount of protein it actually is. 😊

      I'm not saying to eat 10 pieces of cheese lol.... fat is ok and not bad for you. As I say in the video - just look at your daily macro intake and make sure you are staying within your daily fat grams - so choose foods accordingly based on the rest of your day :)

    Protein bars are garbage. Glorified candy bars. How can they be recommended?😳The rest are fine. Only Whole Foods are good for you.

    • @MichelleRoots
      @MichelleRoots  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      I eat protein bars and am still very healthy and lean :) Yes they are not the best option; however, the point of this video is high protein snacks for "on the go". Meaning I'm showing the best options to carry with you vs. stopping for fast food or baked goods at coffee shops. That's great that you only eat whole foods and never eat anything processed or fast food. I like to believe that no foods are off limits and everything is ok in moderation. Yes, I don't recommend people eat protein bars when they are at home and have access to whole foods in their fridge, but they are still a fine option for on the go.
